    For some reason, it makes me think of a series called "Angel" or something like that. I know it deals with Heaven and Hell. I don't know if its anime or manga but I think its good.

    no here is a another hint there are four characters

    2 are chain smokers
    one of them is sposed to be a religious figure
    the other is a womanizer and a gambler

    the other two
    one is always hungery
    the other is called a murder and got to change his name to start a new life
