    Ah right, music video.
Haven't seen that one yet. Anything like the one he did for the first one?

I've really seen very little music videos from the music I listen too. But Tool's video's are always real cool. The video for Lateralus is probably the best one I've seen in a while.

The movie sucked, hey but at least the music video was good, (can't say much about the song though, it's okay)

Tool rules, the video for Schism is freaky... I think

Oh yeah I saw one recently. It was a video for a track from Reanimation from Linkin Park. It was a kinda animated alien war.

Great animation. Crap song though(not a populer opinion around here I realise)

Daftpunk, "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" is a cool video!
Ummm, actually my favorite for quite a while now is "Remember the Time" by Michael Jackson. Sorry, I'm still a pretty big MJ fan.

Will Smith should be shot. -_- Sorry, just had to get that out. RHCP - Otherside is an excellent video, as is Linkin Park's "In The End", Papa Roach's "Between Angels and Insects", and of course, the classic among classics, Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit". :D

I really liked the anime style Daft Punk vid's, it was just a cool style and I can relate with Daft Punk now because I know that they are (I think) otaku ;)

My favourite music vid would probably be Bullets by Creed, the whole RPG feel to it with Archangels and stuff is great.

Arkanji mentioned the Smells Like Teen Spirit video.
I always see that near the top of all the top 100 music videos polls on TV and crap.
Man, what an over rated video from a way over rated band.

oh yeah, if you liked the style of the Daft Punk vids, That's Leiji Matsumoto's work. You should check out his manga, their excellent. I've never seen any of the anime of them, but I bet they rock.

Yeah, such an overrated band that they paved the way for tons of rock/punk/etc. bands that are here today, having went out on a limb to go about their own style of music while everyone else was doing something completely different. Yeah, they're really overrated, just makes me sick.

oh please. paved the way my ***.
The whole grunge thing was a load of crap(Alice in Chains and SoundGarden were the only two great bands that were considered grunge by the media. Far better musicans than Nivana ever were). Just an image made by the record companies.
And Nirvana's whining and moaning about blatenly obvious things. It wasn't news to anyone. It wasn't some new way of thinking.
There are plenty of other bands from that era that are far better and far more influential than Nirvana. They may have gotten a few whiney kids to play guitar and write songs about how out of place they are in society but that's about it. And that's not even a good thing. Their importance is way over rated.

Rock music was around before Nirvana. It didn't die and it wasn't sleeping or any crap like that. When the whole grunge thing hit, MTV saw something they could cash in on.

Bands of the 70 and 80s influenced most of the rock and metal music were hear today. Nirvana were just a passing fad in pop culture.

There you have it. Part fact, part opinion.

Oh, of course, such a passing fad that to this very day there are still people who worship them, mourn over Kurt Cobain's death and their music is still heard on true rock music stations all over, as well as, as you said yourself, on the top 100 videos, of course, that's just further proof of how much they suck and how they're meaningless and had no impact what so ever. Hells.

The only people I see wearing Kurt Cobain t-shirts or hoodies are those kids that go around wearing korn and slipnot shirts. And really that's nothing to go by.

And the amount of people listening to a certain band or wearing their t-shirts has never been an indicator of quality. Neither is the top 100 video poll. especially the MTV one.

Nirvana is just played as musical nostalgia, to remember the first half of the 90s. Grunge was just a phase that people got tired of, just like people are getting tired of boybands and like nu-metal when people get tired of that. Then the labels will find some other flavour of the month to promote. Rock will be around for a lot longer because some people still want to hear great musicans.

Oh yeah..I loved Daft Punk too!!
There are 3 clips..and if you watched them in the correct order, you will see that its actually an anime which they made 3 (or more) parts as music clip for them..

I need to know more about that anime that they used as a music clip for their music.. :p

There were 4 of the Daft Punk anime music videos in total.
They weren't part of any anime.
As far as I know they hired Leiji Mastumoto to do it.
I've only seen the 4th part over the internet.
They turn the aliens into humans(ie give them human skin colour) and play play a gig on earth. Damn record companies, is their no lengths they won't go to get a band to market.
As far as I can remember anyway. It's been a while.

Which I think was a great Idea....but didnt you notice that the music videos look a lot like BOTP....and have you seen what the musicians do to themselves during an interview....last one I saw was when they dressed up like robots so no one could see them...one didnt say anything because his words ended up on the LCD screen in front of his eyes..
