Well there was this one Korean Music Video that kind of got stuck on me. It's by a group known as KISS, and the song was Because of a girl, or was it Because I'm a girl (Don't remember) Well anyways the music video isn't anything fancy, no special graphics (CG), It just had this drama movie feeling to it.

The song and the music video told a story, which made it even more clearer. Well the song is about (It's all girly.... It's just one of my friend who is a girl favorite song) how this woman loves her boyfriend, well the video shows that the girl friend got into an accident, and lost her sight (She is blind) Well the boy friend is terribly pissed off, and leaves, the next scene the girl gets several bandages off her face and see can see again, but she found out that her boyfriend left her. SHe's all upset and cries while eating Ice cream, watchi Stuart Little. She see images of her boyfriend, but it's always someone else or nobody is there. Well one day she receives a package from her former boy friend. She is asked to meet him somewhere. She goes and sees her former boyfriend. He is wearing a pair of glasses and holding one of those sticks that helps blind people walk. What he did was, he gave his eyes to her, so she can see again.


It's a old song, but I still remember that video.

That was the only music video that almost made me cry. What really struck me was that the man was a photography. I happen to have taken two years of photography in high school, and am now taking my second semester of college photography, so I can relate to the photographer! Now I'm not sure if developer can make someone go blind since the teachers never gave us any warnings about it. But I suppose it probably could make you go blind since the chemicals in it are reactive. Just seeing this music video makes me a lil scared of working in the darkroom now.

On a more serious note, yes this music video was very emotional. It was so depressing that I couldn't get myself to watch it again for months. And it took me half a year to get the guts to get the song itself which brings so many depressing feelings. The melody itself is quite saddening, but it's a good song.

 

Yeah, just saw it the other night. It's great.

 

Sum 41's new vid for "Hell Song"...its just a bunch o toys! Its so cheap and great! Specially the pamela lee doll...what a tramp! TRAAAAAAMP! And when the Jesus toy dances with the marylin manson toy! Its too good!
