Anime Hamtaro???

Last summer I want to Japan and I saw all these Hamtaro stickers and bought them he's sooo cute. I don't like the side view of his head though, it looks funny to me. And the story is not very interesting to me.

 

I saw Hamtaro (I remember it as Hamutaro - Japanese-style spelling and I never heard it said) all over the place in Japan too, in February. I didn't pick up any of the toys but I probably should have, since the hamster is my totem animal (strikes 'Hamster Style' martial arts pose). Never saw the show on TV, despite watching quite a bit of TV. Never missed Inuyasha!

There were a bunch of Hamutaros amongst the snow sculptures in Sapporo too. I think it's pretty big over there, but definitely a kids show.

I saw a few clips of this when Seraphim was watching it, and it was too kawaii!! It's shown on toonami right now, and well I'll probably watch a few episodes I guess... Oh and Sister, call the hampster Hamtaro!!!!

I named my Hamster Mikichu! Mick for short! He's sooo smart! You should make a thread to name your new addition! What does he look like, what does he act like...

Hamtoro...I think I saw a hamtoro notebook once...but it had a really ugly hamster on it. >.< I think it was the sideview of his head, like you said, Inu-girl.

 

Hamtaro is so hecka cute!! I wanted to watch it, but the fact that it's dubbed isn't very appealing. I still wanna see it. I love hamsters!!

i had a hamster once i named it....*get ready for this creative name* tiny lol i was in kindergarten....^.^all i remember about it was it bit me hard once and my cat wanted to eat it...oh and when i had to give it to my friend when i moved that was sad...
oh btw i havent seen the show but it looks weird...

 

my oldest and most longest-living hamster bit me once...i got so sad....anyways, i gave it an even weirder name than u gave urs, bunny.

i named it wiggles. <don't laugh!!>

but i loved this hamster more than the others cuz...well, it stayed alive longer than the others and it developed a certain habit of climbing up the cage to let me pick it up every time it saw me coming. I miss it so much.....

 

Well, to be honest, most hamsters are kinda weird.
Mine does pee in his water dish, but he doesn't sleep in his droppings. He's a funny little guy and he only lets me near him.
Anybody else has to be introduced and carefully sniffed before petting is allowed. ^^ He's smart too. And hamsters chew on their cages.

My hamster is lucky! He has two houses (cages). One is his winter home, a modified Guinea Pig cage and the other one is his summer cottahe, an actual hamster cage with a maze and a hamster ball and all that good stuff! He likes grapes too.

Anyway, decided on a name?

 

I had hamsters... All of them are my cousin's victims... She killed all of them Firat she grab them and then she throw them on the pool... I saw one day when i was 7<she's 14 too>, she is a murder, she killed her birds too...

okay i finally made myself watch the show and they all went to the festival and it was soooooo scary but so cute at the same time i was just sititng in front of the tv all alone giggling and saying awwww!!! cuz the hamsters were so presh!!!! one thing though(other than the bad plot and weird concept all together) WHY MUST THEY SAY WHIFF WHIFF WHIFF OR WHATEVER WHEN THEY SMELL STUFF!!!! IT DRIVES ME CRAZY!!!! weird show...what are these japanese children going to grow up to?? "were all set to go to the movies honey whiffwhiffwhiff ooo is that new perfume?" arg!!!

first I heard of Hamtaro was browsing fanfiction.net

I was looking through the misc section for fics of series that weren't quite large enough for their own section. By far the most common in the misc section was some thing called Hamtaro. At least it doesn't have its own section..
