Anime hell of a funny anime!

Comedic anime can be funny at times, but don't you think they tend to get a little carried away? I guess that the common theory is that chaos = entertainment

 

Sorry if I offend you, Baka, but if it takes total madness to amuse you, you have reached a truly hopeless state. If only the truly extreme cause you to flinch, (or laugh, in this case), you have become DESENSITISED. I should know, as some say I myself have a similar state, allthough for me it's not comedic mischief and anarchy that drives my emotions.

 

Don't make me give you the curse of double posts.

 

Goldenboy or Puni Puni Poemi. Man, the Golden Boy manga are... not so funny. more Hentai, less laughs.

 

Love the funny stuff. I think Hale nochi Guu and Full Metal Panic deserve an honorable mention. I nearly passed out over the scene where Sagara is arguing with a dating sim.

I think that the best feature of manga and anime is the way they blend tragedy with comedy. It was interesting watching a roomful of newbies watching Trigun, which starts out so goofy, once it started to get tragic. They still kept laughing, I think they were confused by the change in tone and not sure how they should react. I don't think anybody does that blend of tragedy and comedy (and isn't that what life is like? ) as well as the Japanese.

 

hum.. I think SMJ, RK. i can't remeber more, but i'm sure that it's a lot more!

 

weighing in with the benefit of at least a half years more experience: in addition to my above mentioned, of course Excel Saga. Great Teach Onizuka episode one left me gasping. and, uhm, that live action sailor moon trailer hahaha

 

Dragonhalf

Dragonhalf is one of the funniest animes I ever seen ^^ waiiiii *claps and throws her pink bunny teddy into the air* there are only 2 episodes though >.< as far as i've heard anyway but if u get the chance do see it ^^ aieeeeee =)

 

i'd have to say the anime golden boy manga wise it's a hard one katsuo the human weapon is one of the best(don't know if thats the real name just translated its french title)

 

FLCL, Mahou Tsukai Tai, Love Hina, SMJ, GTO, and I just saw Lupin the 3rd: Mystery of Mamo, while not the funniest it had some great onliners.

Nothing like seeing a kick *** new anime for reviving dead threads. I downloaded this show called Kodomo no Omocha or Kodocha for short(Child's Toy in english). Man was that funny, I'd recommend this to anyone. It's hyper as hell and totaly insane. I love this ****. Everyone, get it now, if you haven't already. As a matter of interest, this is anime Ultra Relax is from, as I'm sure some of you know. Man is it funny. The only problem is that the main character talks really really fast, so sometimes it's hard to keep up with the subs, but it's still one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
As for the funniest manga, that'd be without a boubt Love Hina. I love that shut too. I crack up just thinking about it. If you haven't read it, you can go to the Love Hina board for a links to downloads of the whole thing. I recommend this greatly too. Aaaah, comedy.

 

Funny anime.. hmmm.. nothing cracks me up these days ;_; *sobs* All of the funny animes that I have made me lmao was Rurouni Kenshin and Cowboy Bebop. Yupp thats it! Now there are dramatic, serious animes which are full of ecchi ='( There are no longer good j-anime like the animes that ones I've mentioned [CB and RK]

 

The funniest anime I ever seen was Puni Puni Poemi! I was still laughing for about three hours after I saw it! x.x;;
