Neon Genesis Evangelion Hooked

Evangelion Rocks! It is one of the many series that you watch, don't understand a damn thing (possibly actually hurting your brain very much) and yet you still love to watch and create theory on what it all means. It has just a fun and enjoyable feel to it even during the last few eps and the movies when the comprehension level goes to hell in angel guts. Love it!!

well, eva isn't that hard to grasp...u should see lain..now that is really really..uhm...some good word that I can't come up with ^_^

I've seen lain and I totally agree, but Eva does have it's mind throws. Especially that whole deal with shinji at the end of the tv series with him going nuts in the School gym and then everyone clapping and what not. Way over my head on that one.

I watched half of End of Eva and I was on edge, that was cool but it kind of angered me to what happened...that was cool when that nuclear warhead crashed into unit 02's head!!!!!!!

yeah, that was pretty cool, i loved how she anihalated the eva series. I mean, she goes buck and starts killin all over the place. Course then she gets owned when they pull out the lances. As Shampoo would say, it's too too delicious!

 

Oh Baka Baka.. I guess they could have just said straight up what Instrumentality is, but I like how they showed it, and made us think about it. They weren't the kind of eps you could just veg to.

It is still interesting how they came to be though. That info is prolly up above this somewhere

Baka- I did wonder that too. They weren't completely fulfulling, didn't answer everything, but I wouldn't call them boring.. And the veg thing: maybe subconsciously

That Guy- there are two theories. One is YES, it is what happened in his head, another is that it is an alternate ending kind of thing. See the please explain topic for a deeper handling of it. (deeper is relative of course)
