the ending was that way to set us up for the sequel that Marvel will be doing. That open door style that lets you know more is to come. I thought this flick was very well done considering the main character is all CGI.

Hey Seraphim, why do you think the Hulk is a frog???

To nightwarrior---if Marvel didn't think Dare Devil was going to please the fans, they would never have selected it as part of their movie crossover push.

I saw Hulk today, thought it was an absolutely smashing film. I know, I'm too witty. I thought it was pretty damn cool in every respect. I'm not familiar with the Incredible Hulk comic, so I don't know how David Banner fits into it, but that didn't hinder my enjoyment. The fight with the hulk dogs was cool, and when Hulk was fighting the tanks in the desert. And all them non-action talky bits too, they were good.

First off, wasn't the Hulk ORIGINALLY Green? Grey came when Stan Lee (or was it Ditko?) decided to make him a bit smarter (I can imagine this is because the Hulk's lines were really...simple). Basically, this Grey Hulk came out when the full moon shines, and he was actually coherent. Not as smart as Bruce, but smarter than Green, y'know? Oh, care to guess what this Hulk's color palate was? You guessed it. Grey. I believe it was Grey Hulk who first met up (and introduced) the character Wolverine, actually.

Then came the golden age, where I believe Green, Grey, and Bruce got merged together to become "Smart Hulk". Basically, he's as smart as Bruce, and as strong as the Hulk, in a smaller package (a la Grey, who was smaller than Green).

Anyway, David Banner, I *believe* was either the name of Bruce in the cartoon Marvel created around the 80's. Either that, or it was the name of the Hulk in the ORIGINAL movies.

And Stan Lee is the god-father of comicdom. He's the one who CREATED Spider-Man, and alot of the other famous comic icons. He *was* known for saying, "Excelsior!" in all his comic appearances (mostly on the back-issue-order page). This was the guy who made Marvel what it is today.

PS: As an aside, did you know that Wolverine's claws were originally designed to just be claws that were PART of the gloves he wore? As he became more popular, and the mutant crisis showed up at Marvel...his claws became parts of his body, as it was seemingly already part of his charm. That, and his original mask looked kinda...well, he looked more wolverine-ish, that's for sure. He even had a snout-like nose-area on his mask. LOL.

Edit: I didn't really like the fact that Ang had the go-ahead to make the Hulk part frog/jelly-fish/sea-cucumber. I mean, it made more sense, because Stan Lee didn't really know jack-diddly about radioactivity in general and Gamma rays in particular. But, it kinda ruined it, y'know? It'd been nice if it stayed faithful to the comics in that it just let him vent his anger.

    !!

i saw it and it was ok but the Hulk was originally supposed to be just a huge man with extraordinary strength, and green. not some 20 ft. tall giant who could take out jets and god knows what else.well i liked the movie but i'm not into the whole CG thing i like the big buff guys like lou fregno. i think he was the first guy to play as the hulk in th original tv show. its back on tv weeknights at 6 o'clock on the Sci-Fi channel.its pretty cool. if you like the hulk then you should check it out.LAte!!

X-Men 2, Hulk, DareDevil and SpiderMan were all great: X-Men sucked. (this is an opinion)

Hulk looked froggy when he would jump really high and keep going. so i assumed, yes Frog was in the mixture with sea cucumber and starfish. but its news to me that Ang Lee was the one who altered that part in the story.

plus, I dont know much of the comic book, but David Banner was Bruce's alias in the old tv show with Bill Bixby. his real name is Bruce Banner but everyone called him 'David' .. but I dont know if he went with the full name Banner when he was travelling.

In DareDevil, Stan Lee was the guy who was reading a newspaper and was about to cross the street without looking, and Matt stopped him.

    Stan Lee is my Idol!!!

I saw this movie with Zanzor and it was ok. The more I think of it, the more I dislike it. The story was going in circles. I expected the movie to be at the standard of the movie "Xmen"; however, its much better then that marvel movie "Daredevil".

I actually loved DareDevil I bought the dvd. the problem with SpiderMan and Hulk is that they made the story to fit modern times. I mean Peter gets bitten by a radiactive spider, but now he gets bitten by a genetically enhanced meshed diferent powers engineered spider. in Hulk, its Bruce's father who was the main scientist, and Bruce is now the victim, not the person who instigated his own transformation which was set only off by gamma radiation, as I recall. enter the starfish, frogs and sea cucumber and his Dad as a psychotic villain (sorry for the spoiler)

what made the movie (Hulk) for me was Jennifer Connelly. Her acting is superb and her eyes are really stunning... and of course the computer work.

anyways, everyone has their own tastes.

Daredevil is lying in my room upstairs, though I haven't watched it yet. I've seen X-men, I personally thought they were pretty good, though, surprisingly, the second was better. And I liked Spiderman. ^_^
Hulk, well... I dunno. I grew up watching most of these shows on Saturday mornings while drinking hot chocolate. Liek Seraphim said, I really don't like the "modernization", cuz if you go on later into the plot, it gets ruined...
    But hey, that's just me.
