Inu-Yasha Inuyasha Funtime Caption Contest

Ok, let's see how well this takes off.

Inspired by Kos-Mos' game of coming up with stuff Inuyasha characters would never say (and by the caption contest at Neopets and other places I've seen), here's a game for everyone, fans or not, to enjoy. I post a picture, and you wonderful folks come up with captions (amusing or otherwise) for them. Points will be awarded based on creativity, originality, etc. Prizes won't be handed out, since I don't know that there's much to offer via a message board, but you will have your points to show off, and eventually I might keep an online gallery somewhere (possibly my own website) of each picture and its winning caption.

Judges currently include myself and Shadowbard (your friendly forum moderators). I may take on a few others, but first I want to see how participation goes here. I will also be the only one posting pictures for the contest. If anyone else has a picture they'd like to see up, you're welcome to PM me about it.

Contest Rules:
- Up to five captions per person may be posted. This is so you have room for creativity if you come up with more than one, but is also to prevent you from monopolizing the competition. If you post more than five, only the first five will be accepted, and the rest ignored, no matter which ones you like best.
- No posting of pictures except by me, or someone else who has already contacted me and received approval for posting the next picture. I don't want to swamp the thread with everyone and their dog posting pictures they like. We've already done that thread.
- No name-calling, insulting, etc. Play nice, children. If you think someone's caption is stupid, keep it to yourself. The rest of us don't want to hear it.
- No spam or unnecessary posts. Don't post off-topic. If you want to tell someone you like their caption, either do so when you post your own caption, or PM them.

Inuyasha: You sure? Because I think it just moved!

Kagome: Here Inuyasha try this.

Inuyasha: Sniffs it then picks it up. AHHH It is hot.

Souta: Duh. It is a HOT potatoe.

Inuyasha: Huh? what is a hot potatoe?

 

Kagome: here Inu-yasha *toss*

Inuyash i dont feel like- whoa *catches it*

souta: yay!! potatoes potatoes *starts to run around*

Inuyasha: *twitch* wh-what the hell is this, its hot!!!

Kagome: its called a hot potatoe silly.

Kagome: Just try it Inu Yasha.

Inu Yasha: No.

Kagome: Don't tell me a big tough demon like yourself is scared of a potatoe.

Inu Yasha: I am NOT scared. It's just really hot!

Well, I suppose it's about time I put up a new picture. Shadowbard and I will deliberate on the entries for the first one and award points to the winner(s). Meantime, have fun presenting your captions for the new entry!

Kagome: Awww, that's so cute!
Shippo *talking through his food*: Yeah! How was it Myouga?
Myouga: *urp* Pretty good! So...what's next?
Inu-Yasha *growing angrier by the second*: YOU ARE! *Ready to pick Myouga up and throw him in Shippo's mouth*

Yeah, I know. It's sucky, but I tried! :sweat2:

 

Miyoga: Ah hoo ha ha hooo
Inuyasha: What the? Get out of there!
Miyoga: Hahaha I'm so drunk ha hoo ha
Inuyasha: Hate to tell you this but that's tea.
Miyoga: ............

 

Inu Yasha: Myoga. Don't make me eat you.
Myoga: Like you would.
Inu Yasha: Well you have forced me to feed you to Shippo.
Shippo: YEAH!
Myoga: nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Kagome: You two are just to funny. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

 

Kagome: Um Inuyasha?
Inuyasha: What do you want wench?
Kagome: Never mind *smiles to herself and watches him*
Inuyasha: *Continues to eat his soup. And something hits his lip* HUH? AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! MYOGA!!! *Starts to spit up*

Next Photo: Everyone laughing except for Inuyasha who is busy cleaning his mouth.

 

Inu Yasha: and why is it me who has to look stupid on every caption contest picture?

*Kagome's too busy staring at Inuyasha and Myoga*
Inuyasha: Myoga... GET OUTTA MY TEA!!!
*Myoga keeps dancing in Inuyasha's tea while Kagome and Shippo give them the evil eye and then turn their attention away*
Kagome: Thanx Shippo you can have as much as...
*Kagome trails off as she returns to staring at Inuyasha and Myoga. Meanwhile Inuyasha picks up Myoga between his fingers and smushes him. Myoga falls to the ground, flat as paper. He gets up and looks towards the door.*
Myoga: Thats my cue to leave... gangong...

Shippo :: not bothering to let Inuyasha speak :: 'O wow Kagome it's awsome! Your a great chef! Right Inuyasha?'
*Both Kagome and Shippo are now starring at Inuyasha for an answer while he stares down at Myoga with an evil grin on his face*
Inuyahsa :: with a sparkling background behind him :: 'Myoga... it would be just great if..." :: expression turns dark and background goes fiery :: 'YOU'D GO TO HELL! NOW GET OUTTA MY SAKE!!!!'
*Myoga ignores Inuyasha and just keeps dancing. Shippo and Kagome look at each other, shrug their shoulders and mind their own business*

Oh well at least I gave it a shot... I'll do better next time... hopefully

 

After Inuyasha tried his best at cooking-which everyone agreed wasn't good; as our friend left a big mess of strewn pans and open cupboards just to make some ramen. So, Kagome bought some snacks.Myouga: Inuyasha-sama's really not good at cooking.[fluffs down in bowl] Shippou: Well, he's a hanyou. One accident leads to another ^^.
