My PSP lasted 10 hours on mp3 playback only. Not *great*, but it's doable. The only reason I had it out of charge for more than 10 hours was because I was in Europe, and my converter was being used by someone else.

The PSP's are large, but, I generally don't care.

The design is great, and I've never had a problem with the "X" button. In fact, the button I have the most problems on, are my GBASP's "L" and "R" buttons.

The Best Buy that I used to work at takes dead pixels at *ANY* count. In fact, I gave the heads up that mine *will* be returned, when they get the ceramic white one in stock.

UMDs are overrated. Then again, game size *can* effectively double, over that of GBA games. *If* companies are smart enough to take advantage of that.

*IF* you can spare the money, the PSP is a great buy. I use mine a lot. Not very much for games, but instead of lugging around a laptop (desktop replacement), having a PSP makes it easy.

Also, it's great for MULTI-media. An SP is single media.

    My .02c.

UMD's are great and all, but not for portables. The PSP using UMD's is the reason why it only has 3 hours of lifetime when playing games or movies. Also, I see a lot of people who think there are no good games for the PSP. Even people I know that have a PSP don't think it has any good games and it's just collecting dust on their shelves. (That's something they said themselves) More movies for the PSP are being sold than games which is a bad thing considering playing games are the PSP's primary function. (Not to say it doesn't have other functions) The PSP is selling horribly in Japan and is only selling decently in the U.S. because it's a 'bling machine' because of all the extra things it can do and the majority of people who buy it are just looking for some bling to swing around.

And by the way, the DS is not a gameboy. It's full name is Nintendo Dual Screen. The order of gameboys goes Gameboy, Gameboy Pocket, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Advance Super Pocket (SP), Game Boy Micro, and now they released another Gameboy Advance Super Pocket but with a brighter screen. That's something I see no point in doing because I have no problem seeing the screen on any of my Gameboys and I have Pocket through the first SP.

Okay you guys, we're kind of getting of topic here.
I made this thread in the first place just to get the idea of how many people here have iPods, not mP3's. But I did put "Other" as a choice on the poll and I guess that's my fault but I meant any other kinds of iPods.
So please just post if you have an iPod.
And to have something else to post, say how many songs you have.
