Inu-Yasha is inu-yasha the best anime

    Agreed. There are a lot of good points in Inuyasha that, if handled differently, could have been much more entertaining over the long term. But the series just doesn't have enough plot movement to justify how long it is. I guess I was already prepared to see that flaw in it before I really started watching Inuyasha - I had already gotten very tired of both Lum and Ranma for the same reason.

    Now, that said, I did enjoy the manga when I was reading it a few years ago. At least there, you can go at your own pace; makes the experience more enjoyable.

    Who ever made this thread must be dumb.How could you think Inu-Yasha is the best best theres way better anime outhere like berserk,naruto and other stuff.

    Because being opinionated is part of life, my friend. Plus, it also depends on how anime is readily available to that person.

    Yes, there are better anime than Inu-Yasha. For me, and the others who said so in this thread.

    But, for those who love Inu-Yasha, and those who can only watch Inu-Yasha, along with all the other CN and WB anime, it's justified that they think that one of those is the best.

    Even if they buy IY, and know there are other anime out there, and refuse to see them, or somehow do not, they'd still think IY is the best. It's all a matter of your own personal point of view.

    So, they're not "dumb". If you want to see "dumb", refer to the Q-Uzi thread. *That*, my friend, is "dumb". In a funny way.

    But, yeah, IY is far from the best that I've seen. RahXephon, Angelic Layer, FLCL, Azumanga Daioh, His and Her Circumstances, Fushigi Yuugi, Battle Athletes Victory, etc etc, ad infinitum are much better.

    But, I *do* give credit to Rumiko Takahashi for being such a creator. For such similar plot devices, each of her series does relatively well. Or even outspokenly well, as in the case of Inu-Yasha and Ranma ½. Kudos to Takahashi-sensei for her simplicity in creating something long lasting.

    Edit: And besides, I can think of *much* better than Berserk. MUCH. XD But, that's just *my* POV. XD

    Although Inuyasha is one of my favorite animes, I can't say that I consider it to be the best. It has some flaws to be considered the best anime. But it is still in my top favorite shows.

    InuYasha is my favorite anime, but as others have said, it is not the best. The story line kinnda goes in and out and sometimes you sit there waiting for the climax and it doesn't come. I don't think InuYasha is a bad anime, on my personal list it is number one, but in reality it isn't no where near the top.

    i like Inu Yasha:) but its not my favourite. I prefer more adult anime such as Cowboy Bebop and Hellsing.

    Interesting. Not a single person said Inuyasha was, indeed, the best anime.

    Of course, you know that I won't argue with that either. :p And I'm pretty sure I don't need to say which anime I consider to be the best. :p

    In my opinion, InuYasha isn't the best anime, but let's face it: it's not the worst either. I think that it makes a decent anime, if you like long animes with a kinda mix of action and comedy...

    On a scale from one to ten, i'd give it 7, because there are some episodes that are pointless, and the ending is superbly dissapointing.

    Sorry, no spoilers! :p

    Anyone would be crazy not to love Inuyasha!!! This anime has gotten tons of fans that just can't either stop reading the manga and/or watching the T.V. series. I mean...who cannot love the Half-Demon boy, Inuyasha? The action, the romance & love triangles, the intensity of it all!!! In almost every show..it keeps it's fans on their toes...keeping them interested into seeing what might happen next...and I definetly know that I'm one of those suckers for Inuyasha! ^_^ I think Inuyasha is the BEST ANIME!!! I'm also addicted to FruitsBasket, but Inuyasha will ALWAYS be my #1!!! ^_^

    I do like Inuyasha, however, I do not think that it is the BEST of all animes. I'm not sure what it is but it is not Inuyasha.
