Eirtaku Japanese classes in Dublin

If anyone is interested...
There's a 24-week course in Japanese starting in October. It's being held in Trinity College...
Lex_Diamonds is going to be doing it, and I'm pretty sure I'll be doing it, too

I both can not afford and do not have time for that. I'll just stick to my 'Teach Yourself' book, and watching as much japanese stuff as I can.

Well, I just signed up this morning... I haven't been working for the last few months so I can't really afford it. I had to bum some money off my parents. It was suprisingly easy actually but of course I will have to pay them back some time. As long as it isn't any time soon I don't care.

I doubt the teacher will be hot.. but one can hope, I guess

Thanks for the welcome Lord of Terror. It was very strange to stumble across a bunch of people doing the very same Japanese course as myself due to the same motivation as myself (namely a love of anime!).

I joined there and then and posted the thread 'I think I'm learning Japanese' (yes I did nick that from Saiko Exciting) which was my introduction.

At least I'll be in a class with fellow otaku -- very unusual I think you'll all agree.

 

Yeah, it should be good fun... We could all go eat something in the Sushi bar beside college after a class, or maybe watch some anime or something

 

It would be nice to socialise a bit with anime fans, its been a hobby of mine which has been solitary for far to long

I've never had Sushi though (people from Co. Wicklow aren't the most cosmopolitan I'm afraid ).

Is there any anime that you're dying to see? I've reams of them so I could bring one up....I've listed my collection in another post somewhere.
