    As Zanza pointed out it would be interesting to have a poll the thread was calledKENSHIN OR SANOSUKE.

    I thought about it and decided i woud do it

    Hmm, by that way, I can't chose!! I like the battousai, but ah well, I like sano more!! :D

    well technically so did Kenshin as he was under the direct control of katsura kogorou and technically they both worked for the same side...

    Feh sanosuke was in real life a Shinsen gumi guy his name was harada sanosuke but keni has more of the backroud of the tv show his name was kiwami gensai

    Harada Sanosuke was a spearman for the Shinsengumi and was captian for the 5th division (i think). Sano is almost a mirror image of him. He loved a fight just for the sake of fighting and used a long weapon instead of a katana.

    Kawakami Gensai was a Hitokiri for the Ishin Shishi. a small man with long hair he was often mistaken for a woman. however his personality was completely different. Cold and calculating he almost never failed to bring his target down. His Furanui style of Kenjutsu was lightning fast and was used to strike down Sakuma Syouzan in broad daylight. Born under the name Komori Genjiro he was adopted into the Kawakami Family. later he changed it to Takeda Genbe. His batto jutsu stance looked similar to the end stance of Kenshin's Nidan Battou Jutsu Sou Ryuu Sen. With the right leg out and slightly bent and the left leg bent with the knee touching the ground. However at the end of the Bakumatsu he was killed off in order to protect secrets much like Shishio Makoto.

    wow...again i bow down before you Hitokiri Gensai!!

    This was not even a challenge once you added Battousai to the Kenhsin catagory! He is the best!!! the coldness of his heart and his calculating and tactful mind was incredible...the perfect assassin...;)

    *laughs* the records kept states that he looked like a girl ^_^x; he unfortunetly was assassinated right after Emporer Meiji was put into place to assure nothing got out about the Ishin Secrets.

    While Sano is really cute and cool, I do not think he has the depth of character and philosophy that Kenshin has. Thus I choose Kenshin as my favourite.

    i choose Sano! cuz i love him! kenshin can eat dognumnums! his way too overrated. I like Sano! cuz even tho he is weak and not very good when battling (does he always lose!?) he doesnt give up! oh and hes so handsum too =P~~~

    Speaking of spoilers... I now know why he does what he does in the end of the series because some idiot forgot to say *SPOILER* and now I'm very...very angry/sad. It gave me chill bumps too... but I would prefer getting chillbumps from SEEING it rather than by READING it cuz some IDIOT decided to be STUPID.

    Sano has a valiant heart but find kenshin to be more like my own moral code so i still choose him!
