Debate Lesbians more accepted then Gays?

I agree with NeoNoodle. I live in Alabama... and niether(gays or lesbians) are really considered acceptable by ahem the culture. Heh I think some of the people here would tar and feather Gays and Lesbians if they thought they could get away with it. Take the rather conservative South and compare it to say... Oregon where you have Gay Bars and what not. It's like apples and oranges. The state legislature has a hard time passing a budget, but give them the possible idea of gay marriage and they're on it like a pack of ravenous wolves.

 

i totally agree with Jackabee. i live in texas and i've never seen any lesbians walking around the mall or anythinng like that. i've only seen a gay couple once or twice around here. and like you say in oregon and in california there's gay and lesbian bars and clubs. i hate living here i'm just waiting to finish college and leave...

when voting comes around we're(texans) going to have the chance to vote whether or not if we want to allow gay marriages ... the result... i know my votes for yes

I would say myself that gays and les' are equally accepted in society, Its down to opinion, not tryin to sound childish but, Gays are very warmly welcomed by liberals and women, and les' are very welcomed by again liberals, but also by men.
These points are very valid for obvious reasons.
