Im sorry but am I the only one that notices that SO much of the stuff that got FUBAR in Evangelian is entirely that whigny chump Shinjis fault?

 

Well in the first few eps he sure destroyed a lot. But I guess that's a side effect of his eva using berserk on everything... I really don't know how they pay all of the insurance bills

In the End of evangelian Movie, because Shinjis too much of a self pitying whiney little ***** Misato has to drag his *** everywhere and she gets slowed down and gets ****n' shot dead! She was the best ****n' character, man. Then, just because Winji Ikari is a self pitying **** he says EVERYONE should die- which thet do, except for him so he's also the one who killsShigeru and Fyutski who are the only other good characters, then he throttles Asuka cause of some ****ed up dream he had, even though she was fighting while he sat on his *** and got good ol' Katsuragi capped. I mean **** man, Shinji is a total ****n' pain in the **** I ****n' hate him I do.

I apologise to Evangelian fans, but lets face it shinjis' crap.
I also apologise for talking like Hellsings' Yan Valentine throughout this talk.

Well i have to say something in favor of Shinji.

COME ON! That show really $ U C |< $.

No one realized that the only thing the little kid wanted was someone to love him and make him feel appreciated (this is why he liked Kaworu so much, but dah the producers had to kill him #^&)@(%#@^&). (mumble mumble)
What a nice way to pester one's mind. Anyway... as I was saying...

Let's reconsider. Why did he pilot the Eva? Because he wanted to feel accepted by his father. And he had no mother... man, that must really be lonely.

I feel compasion for the poor Shinji. All his anger was because the people kept hurting him MORE AND MORE AND MORE. Specially Asuka, who always kept yelling at him.

Just a hug... the only thing he needed was a hug.

Now I wonder what would've happened if a female angel offered to be his adoptive mother. But what am I talking about, the series mixes every possible religion without any prudence. YUCK.

Shinji should stop being so dependant. Stand on his own 2 feet you know? He keeps wanting people to do stuff for him. Besides, If he wants affection he should stop relying on the sympathy vote....what a turn off. To me respect is more important than sympathy and Misato and Kaji (the cool ones) give him both.
When he is given affection he rejects it. Hes a self indulgent chump.



By the way....in the few times we look into Shinjis mind we see he wants a little more than a hug....

If he hadn't been so insecure Misato, Shigeru and Fyutski would still be alive to. Being a whiney **** doesn't make all the bad **** that happens any less Shinjis' fault. Besides, hes gotta learn to have more cajones and stand alone. Honestly the only bigger whiney pain in the kaboose in all of anime is Yuri-chan from Alien 9 (haven't seen it?-DONT!)

For your information, Ive been alone plenty!!!!
For the first 13 years of my life I was so overweight that I was treat like something lower than **** I was laughed at, spat on, hit insulted and garbage and abuse was hurled at me from people I didn't know. Few but my family which I didn't always see much of were ever nice to me, to the rest I was scum. NO exageration. Dont go assuming Ive never had it rough just because I can stop dwelling and stand on my own 2 feet!!!!
By the way, as I pointed out earlier ASUKA who you rather hastingly compared me to, was doing her job and protecting the earth, while Shinji was sitting down and getting MIsato iced. Asukas a better person.
By the way you Assumptionweaver, I have compassion to spare I just offer i to those who I respect and feel need it not self indulgent whingers attempting to get the sympathy vote!
I know being alone hurts. I also no its something you can get over without getting people killed.

aye, but at the same time it is very easy to get emotionally attached to a character, specially in a fantasy/sci-fi kind of enviroment..

Shinji is a whiny little turd. I don't usually state things so bluntly, but Shinji bugs me. Yes, i know he's had it extremely rough. But he showed what he is made of by letting it drag him down to the level of a world killing fine-I-don't-want-it-anyway baby.

I didn't mind him in eps 25 and 26, where he seemed to figure things out, but in EoE he, well, it's been said. He was the bottom of suck. (I happened to like 25,26 better than EoE in several ways)

Regarding Shinji having the power to make his twisted little desires come true: Absolute power corrupts absolutely. That says two things. 1: He wascorrupted. 2: But maybe it wasn't entirely his fault, a lot of it was due to the overwhelming pressure shoved on him and the responsibility and power given him that he didn't really want in the first place. Still, the buck stops with him, in the end he is the one who used it wrong.

And please, no one tell me I don't know what it's like to be alone. Just thought I'd try to preempt that. Which leads to.. the pompous, pathetic plea for peace: Remember! This is about a dweeby fictional character! Let's not let it spill over into real life too much. Goes for everyone.

Regarding the Shinobu thing, its not as uncommon as you may think. For instance, Sasami is the most popular girl from Tenchi (on the subject of whiney chumps.....)
