What's the world coming to... I'm really glad your sister and her three friends are okay, if anything that was a miracle that they are!!

Just yesterday my Communications teacher was headed to Sarnia to drop off his nephew and this lady in front of them was sweving around like crazy, so he just zoomed past her really really fast. But then there was a construction zone up ahead on the road and a police officer stopped him while the other cars were allowed to pass. Then suddenly the swerving lady crashed into his van, so he checked everyone and everyone seemed to be okay but the car behind him had it's front totalled. The lady in the car was okay too(but she was either drunk or a loonie since it was a full moon). But the van didn't have one scratch (explain that..!) But, if my teacher wasn't there then the police officer lady and other construction workers in that zone would have been killed because she was going at least 50 km/h.

The laws in Canada are awkward because a drunk driver can get away with commiting a crime because they don't have the mens rea(they didn't have the mental intent on commiting that crime). So if someone here said that they weren't drunk and commited the crime in your case, then they would get into even more crap...

    I agree with That guy!

At school a few days ago we had a presentation on how we teens arent sappost to drink and drive. I alsmost cried when they showed us this movie, b/c in the movie they talk about a little 6month old baby that died in a drunk driving accident. Then she tells us that the person who did it only spent 4 years in jail.

I am soooo happy she is ok.

    I hate drunk drivers!!
