Took my cards to a sci-fi/fantasy symposium today and built myself an all-green elf deck (only 11 elves in it, but I'll buy more eventually). I also sorted out my two black/blue decks so I could rebuild. I'm making a Nightmare deck, a Zombie deck, and a Rat deck. ::evil grin:: That Nightmare deck'll be sweet with Chainer in it (he strengthens all the nightmares). I'll just need to make it impossible to kill Chainer.

User18, if you know some people who would be willing to play Magic with you, they could help too. And I believe there's a way to play online.... I'm basically self-taught with one of those nice Starter sets (with the premade decks and the playmats and all).

Ummm, i believe you mean that Magic The Gathering Online game?

You have to pay in real money to buy those "interactive" cards....

Or is it something else? :D

okay not hard to find, click here to go download apprentice to play M:tG online *for free*

you can also download patches (usually custom made by fans) which enable use of apprentice to play other games online, such as Yu-Gi-Oh

Well, yeah, there's the pay-for-play Online Magic, and then I thought there was a demo or program or something where you could actually play against AI, rather than other people. ::shrug:: I may just be imagining things, but it sounds like MrPig found something that works.
