Fruits Basket Major Spoiler Pic

^_^ Hey know what? This is a big spoiler but I've been looking everywhere for this picture and thought I'd spare some people the trouble of looking.

This is Kyou-kun in his true form. It's really not that bad. ^_^

 

I knew you would put that picture ... Before seeing what happened in that episode I ruined it for myself after seeing poor kyo's horrible pictures in some website.

 

w-w-what?!!???!!! what do you mean that's Kyou's true form? He's a cat! a cute orange cat! not some scary brown monster! WWWWAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!! No!! not kyou!!! *sob* *sob* yuki doesn't have a true form does he? if he does and its even more scary....im gonna cry! why does he turn into that beast??? why??!!

 

But...sniff...he's so scary! Yea i got that impression too. I was like what's up with the ears? Anyway, glad Yuki doesn't have true form. Phew! But...how sad...i hope Kyo learns to settle that anger and be rid of that form. how many times does he look like that? he does turn back right?

 

:sweat: for a moment there I though you had a spoiler piccy of Touru making out with Yuki or Kyou :dizzy2: Oi! Don't get me wrong here ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; I was hoping that Touru will finally decide on either Kyou or Yuki.

Anyways. I too ruined that moment by seeing not the picture from the actual anime, but a FAN ART done by an artist! I got sooo angry >_<;;; But that was an awfully good drawing

 

Nah. He only turns that way when his bracelet comes off.
(right? I haven't seen that far.)

 

so thats why he has that bracelet. makes sense. But i still love my Kyou and Yuki

 

He reeks of something? What does that mean? I just hope Kyo doesn't take his bracelet off often. does he remember who he is when he turns into that? how do they get the bracelt back on?

 

Kyou's other form smells bad, and looks the way it does, because (from what I can remember) it's basically a personification of the cat's anger and hatred toward the other Juunishi members, particularly the rat.

As for the bracelet, what it does is provide Kyou with added control over his alternate form. If he doesn't have the bracelet on he won't necessarily be in monster form, but it's a lot easier and more unpredictable as to when he goes into that form. Hence the reason his mother was always checking to make sure he was wearing his beads.

Kyou has assumed his monster/demon form at least twice, possibly three times. From flashbacks we know that at some point when they were younger Akito removed Kyou's bracelet, revealing the monster form. That's one time. The second definite time is when Kasuma removes the bracelet in the series and Tohru sees Kyou's other form. There is also the possibility of a third time, but it really depends on whether Kagura found out when Akito removed the bracelet or at some other time.

I don't know what happens beyond the anime, but I'm in the process of reading the manga. Things happen a bit differently between the two, I've noticed. Need to read faster, I really do.

well if he learns to cool his temper and like the other animals, highly impossible, he wouldn't look like that. he's still a cutie when he doesn't look so scary. i hope tohru doesn't avoid him after that. kyou must've felt so ugly afterwards. poor kyou. that kagura can be so dense sometimes...j/k...all the time. she means well though...in a painful way. i haven't read, not even one volume, or seen as far as episode 6. so can't say much.

 

I think you'd find it harder to say this if you actualy saw him like that. I know it's easy to dismiss it, and say it's just an anime, but if you look at it like that you'll miss part of the point. Imagine someone turning into a foul smelling demonic beast in front of you, that's so hiddeous it makes you sick. Touru is a very very good person(duh), otherwise she couldn't have gone to Kyou like that. You dismiss it too easily.

 

*nod nod* that's right. but...I wonder what I would've done if I were in that state. Tohru is indeed a role model for all of us, even though she is an anime character. i love the way she excepts everybody. it's great! i wanna be like her and be loved by lots of cute guys

 

Yes yes! I have dismissed it too easily. I never thought of it that way. Putting myself into another person's shoes, their place. If I did, I would probably have died off, knowing not what to do, to scared to do anything. Tohru is such a great person to become, if I could, I would try and be her.

Muwahahahahahahaha!!!! I'd like to see what Akito is like! His personality. But Yuki all they way. Kyou maybe too. heehee
