    Who would win in a fight, Mario or Sonic? If they could use all their powers.. I would have to say Sonic just because Super Sonic can move really fast and is really powerful.. but then again Mario with star power is invincible for a few seconds.. but I still think Sonic would win.

    I like Sonic more, because I can relate to him better than with Mario. Plus, he has super speed, and is a very nice little hedgehog.:)

    ive always liked mario, ive always thought he was cool. i never could get into the sonic games. not a fan of sonic. but besides that, shouldnt this thread be in the video games section, since it has to do with two characters from two games?

    I've been in several threads just like this one in other sites. Sonic will always be the best, regardless of how many games mario's made.:p

    emmm mario is a cool guy. much accomplished for a plumber. but cmon. sonic, and super sonic, are waaayy too fast for mario to even touch him. he would just blaze past him and own mario. yah mario may get a few good hits with super jumping and kicking and fireballs and star power and flying and ish. but overall sonics speed would own.

    If Mario stands in one spot spinning his cape, Sonic cant touch him. Even better if he has the invincibility star.

    So Sonics speed is gonna let him do what, run away???

    In support of Mario, I'd like to remind everyone that Sonics speed is essentially negated due to Mario's go-kart, airplane and other funky rides.

    I thought we were talking mono y mono here. If that's the case, discount the "funky rides" and reduce it to whatever they can do solely by themself.

    Otherwise its down to who can retain their super status longer. Mario'd have to keep finding Starman powerups to retain his, and Sonic'd just need a steady supply of rings. With rings being more commonplace, I think he'd 0wn him right there.

    I voted for sonic but then i thought about it and read a post by Nephilim_x and i decided that none of them would win they would be great on a team but they would ko each other
