Coming back from Germany something happened to me, and I was really glad it didn't happen at an airport in the USA or I could have been in some real trouble.

At the Frankfurt airport I went through the metal detector just fine, but a guard pulled me over to search my backpack. She asked if I had a knife. I was pretty sure I didn't, so we went through it and lo and behold, there was my pocketknife in it. I was totally shocked: the day before I had flown from London to Frankfurt with the backpack and no one found/said anything about the knife. Oops.

She said they would have to throw it away unless I checked the backpack as normal luggage. I went back out of security and did so. Coming back through the detector, it beeped me! The all gave me crusty looks, like I was still trying to sneak the knife on or something. I got the wand, which beeped at all 6 of my travel pants' zippers. The guard did manage to find a key I thought I had lost 2 weeks before though :)

In the end I got my backpack, with knife at the baggage claim in Denver, and all was well. Just glad it didn't happen going from the US to Europe

My older brother and grandfather told me a time they were flying over to Georgia to go visit my uncle (this was a while back). On their way to, I believe it was, they would walk through the metal detectors and they kept going off. To make a long story short, it turned out to be a stick of gum each of them had in their pockets that was setting it off (the wrapper on it).

I just recently went to Paramount Canada's Wonderland and I havent been there in a while. When I got there they had metal detectors  I went through and it went beep! it was my purse. He took it looked in it and gave it back. I had my baithing suit in it and he didnt even bother to look under the suit. He totally ignored me purse and just looked in it. I mean I had like money and stuff in there and he didnt even look for it. I found that to be weird :dizzy2:

DAMN! I can't LIVE without my walkman! (I keep it in my uniform trousers' pocket.)

We have cameras in my school, and I heard they're setting up metal detectors next year... ugh... this is gonna be great.
