Eirtaku More Anime on UK TV

Only spotted it this morning but Zoids is being shown on Sky One every morning a 9am.
It's been on since Monday of last week so I've missed a good chunk of it. Dunno if anyone else has seen it though.

 

I don't know anything about that series, hope it's good... at least I have Sky One
Actually, now that I think about it, there's no way I can watch it at that time
I hope they show repeats during the weekend...

 

Yeah I've seen two episodes of that.
I'm pretty sure I saw the first episode.
I thought it was pretty good too. Maybe one of the better kids anime they are bringing over.
The characters were likable and the designs were good.
The computer animation of the zoids blends well with the cells to.
I also used to play with Zoid toys when I was a kid so I may be bias.

The bad thing is that it's on way to early. I only saw them cos I happened to get the early shift at work.
Do kids still get up that eary to watch cartoons?
hehe I only stopped doing it when I went to college.

 

Haven't been arsed getting up to watch it yet, doesn't seem to be much point at this stage, too many episodes gone.
From what I've heard this kids show actually has some elements of a plot so joining half way through isn't worth while.

 

lol. I remember playing a Zoids computer game on my Commodore 64 years ago - i never did figure out how to play the game properly.

 

There was a zoids game for the c64? damn, I'm gonna have to look for that.

 

Im glad more channels are showing some....<clears throat>.....good anime.....

 

It seemed good but I'd like to see more, to make an opinion on it.
It's a step in the right direction though. It looks like it's got a decent buget. All the cheap **** they import from Japan is usually terrible.

Well, I recorded an episode, it didn't seem to great to me. I didn't care much for the CG. I suppose I should give it another chance though. Anyone know how long it is or at what stage in the series they're currently showing?

 

Well everyone seems to be saying it's crap.
I've seem too episodes and I enjoyed them, maybe they were to exception(or it was too early in the morning)

But it's gotta be better than the usual crap anime they have on.

Oh yeah I saw an episode of Beyblade for the first time recently.
I kinda liked the character designs. But good lord what a terrible show. I've never seen a show with such a bad concept in my life. How did it ever get made.
I mean battling spinning tops. I remember getting them free with Wheetos years ago. It's pathetic. And theygot spirits in them that's even better. At least with show like Pokemon or Digimon they are creatures with special powers and separate characters, those show are crap in their own way. But Bayblade is just pathetic, just thinking about it makes me chuckle.

Only in Japan would they do it.
And only over here would people lap up the sh*t they send us.

 

Well.....anywayz........look at Zoids?!?! That is an anime? All I can remember is it being a popular toy you construct when I was 7! Now an anime? Who made up this crap?!?!?

I saw an american Speed Racer show a few years back.
It was awful. Instead of racing, him and racer x had adventures a ****. It was real bad. I mean the show is about racing for gods sake.
Is that the show your talking about or have they defiled it again?

 

MY BROTHER (Deathscythe) is obsessed with those new anime.....he watches POKEMON (ARGH I HATE THAT SHOW!!!), Digimon, Monster Rancher, Yu-Gi-Oh, the new transformers (sad what they did to that), and finally all the toy shows.......(i.e. zoids, bayblade....)

 

i thought yu-gi-oh was pretty good, but I didn't get to see too much of it, was on too early.

no way in hell I am getting up at half 7 to watch TV
