Eirtaku More Anime on UK TV

hmmmmmm.......all this raises a question.
Will the kids of today look back on all these show that we consider crap as fondly as we do with the ones we watched in the 80s or early 90s

Transformers, Speed Racer, Ulysess, Mysterious cities of gold, voltron, and many more that I used to love as a kid. I'm sure most of ye know them too.
Were they really that good?
Is nostalgia getting in the way and making our opinions bias?
This could just be old man syndrome, ie things were better in my day, I'm pretty sure the animation quality was better at least.

But no matter what we think of Transformers it was a vehicle to see the toys. Which came years before the show.

 

I hope people in the england start getting more anime. I get mad hear in the us when anime take a long time to be dud and ready. People in england have to wait a least twice as long if not more.

 

my brother (Musashi)watches a new show called Hamtaro an anime for kids with talking hamsters and Sailor Moon

 

Well Ive put up with Nintendo"wait for 6 months, no make that a year, No how about 2, actually screw it. your not getting it." Europe(untill now). So id say we can wait for anime dubs long.

hummmmmmm well there are some pretty decent things/ god awfull out there that will stick in kids minds.......... i love getting nostalgic about cartoons of the 80's i spent my childhood watching telly so i have a quite a list of memories.........
honestly i watch digimon, shinchan jackie chan, and so on.......
hell i saw the entirty of Sailor moon at least 6/7 years ago......... my gods that was a while ago....... i also was really tempted to learn polish..... they import anime really quickly........... they have a lot of really good anime on, un censored............

 

cartoon network stopped showing DBZ on sunday, they stop around ep 240 in the buu saga, don't think they have the rest licensed or something cos they always stop there.

Or you could just learn Japanese and get stuff imported from there. Obviously fansubs are the best way to see the latest anime quickly.

 

i was 13 at the time and polish is the easier language to learn .................. and i had no money to import the stuff....... grrrrrrr that hasn't changed much...................... lalala i'm starting college in two weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i shall invade DL!!!!!!!!!:::

 

To late. I was part of the invasion force last year.
If I manage to get a house I will be continuing the battle.

na i HATED secondary school and never had the pleasure of 4th year............... so i'm quite a happy lil college student.............. sugestion ...... go paint over the graffety((sp?)) in Dublin with something of a better quality ......... graffety can be kewl and what they have is just plain al crap
