Kodakero shook her head and said "THANKS!" But just noticed that the boy had move to talk to the other lady.

Kodakero raced over, "Thanks for saving me!" She blushed.

"HI! My name is Kodakero" Kodakero Tzusata! From teh hidden Cloud Village!" Kodakero introduced herself.

"My name is Mimi tsubara! I on Kodakero's team!"

"ME TOO!!!! Kunzu Herodo! The best out of the 3!" Kunzu proudly said.

    Mimi sweatdropped.

Kodakero swacked him with her sword.

"Ignore him! he has a big ego! Anyway! What's you name!?" Kodakero pointed to the lady and then too the boy.

Nobody seemed to answer and Kodakero started to feel uneasy.......

She decided to hold out her hand too. The Lady shook it and smiled and introduced herself, so did the boy.

The lady was named Athena, and the boy was Jerii

OOC: Sorry I couldn't post yesterday due to technical difficulties.

    *Hits computer*

BIC: Jerii turned around and smiled shaking the hand of the girl he saved earlier.

    "Oh no problem." Jerii smiled.

He noticed that she patted Masamune and refered to it.

"Big ego huh!?!?!?" Masa said "I'll show you big ego lady!"

"Calm down, see she probably heard you guys by accident, remember to just keep your cool and just talk to me, we don't want to cause a scene." Jerii thought to his sword.

    "Hmph." Mune and Masa grunted.

"Pleased to meet all of you." Jerii smiled "Well as you can see I don't really have a team as of yet."

Jerii was happy to have meet some new faces, especially from another hidden village.

"Well I'm from over here, so maybe after the exams if we make it I'll show you around." Jerii smiled.

He then turned over to the lady and awaited her reply.

"So you still thinking of quiting?" Jerii asked.

OOC: Sorry guys! I couldn't post for the last few days, sudden family trip. Anyway, I'm back. We'll be starting the first exams soon (shall I NPC for Morino Ibiki [bald test-examiner dude]?)

    BIC:

With a haughty 'hmph,' the sound ninja withdrew and disappeared back into the crowd. The circle that formed from the conflict, dispersed.

Mamushi withdrew from his defensive stance and looked at his surroundings. Naruto, still unconscious from the blast of the sound ninja, was getting a hearty lecture from his teammate Sakura while Sasuke snubbed his nose at him. Mamushi was amused, and chuckled to himself.

At the corner of his eye were two particularly interesting characters that intervened during his bout with the sound ninja--Jerii and Kodakero. Feeling the need to thank them, he approached them and introduced himself:

    "Thank you, kind sirs."
They both looked at him, puzzled at his formality.
    "My name is Sunaba Mamushi."

OOC: You got me worried there 6pt7, I thought you got knocked out for a couple of weeks or something, guess that's why you didn't show up for Guilty Gear Friday. Alright back to posting!

BIC: Jerii was once again introduced to a new face.

"Oh it was no problem," Jerii smiled "I just feel the need to help people that's all."

Jerii smiled noticing the leaf village's emblem on Mamashi's head protector.

OOC: Every Genin is presented with a Head Protector, kind of a bandana, when they have graduated from Ninja Academy. From what I've seen, most people in the Manga/Anime wear their Head protectors differently for ex. Sakura the Heroine wears it as sort of a headband tilting up, and Kakashi the Jounin Ninja wears it at a tilt to cover his left eye...or was it right oh well I'm bad at directions ok just some food for thought back to the post!

BIC: "Hmmm, I'm sensing a unique presence to this individual." Masa noted.

    "Good or bad" Jerii thought

"Hard to say.....I think I'm just picking up the wrong vibes." Masa said.

"Ok good, because I don't see anything wrong with this guy." Jerii replied.

Jerii gave him a thumbs up and smiled.

"Glad to see someone from our village." Jerii said.

He then noticed that all the Genins were organizing themselves. Jerii looked around and saw that in the front stood a tall mean looking ninja. From the looks of it, it was Jounin, and probably the exam instructor for the Chuunin Exams.

"Well here we go." Jerii smiled "Looks like the exams have begun."

OOC: Well looks like Candy already did a good job making a 3 person team, so how about we switch to 3 people team again and keep it true to the manga eh 6pt7? I'm sure Athena can make a 3 man team as well, and I would enjoy devoloping some more characters, I got more in mind anyway and YES PLEASE NPC the exam instructor, you'll do a better job than me at it hehe. Ok Post up guys and gals cuz it's gonna be a bumpy ride from here on out!

OOC: Hm.............how should Kodakero wear her head band???

    IC:

"Anyways before the Exam starts, just to let you know I am Kodakero! The" Kodakero's thought was finished by Kunzu.

"THE CLUMSIEST PERSON IN THE WHOLE HIDDEN CLOUD VILLAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Kunzu you should not have done that." Kodakero took he sword and swacked him again.

Mimi sweatdropped. "I am from the hidden cloud village! I guess you can tell because of my head band!"

"And you are from the LEAF village!" Kodakero said.

'Hey....where is that Naruto person" Mimi said.

'No time! the EXAM IS STARTING!" Kodakero raced off again, leaving the stranger who had not even introduced himself in the dust along with her friends.

OOC: 3 person teams? Well you guys can do it if you can handle it, but I'm still going to stick to RPing Mamushi only. My idea was that we stick to single characters until more people join, then we ourselves would form the teams..but we'll see, teamplay at this point of the RP is not that important.

OK, the first exam will commence, as NPCed by me  . New players may still join, just find a way to RP yourself in.

    BIC:

All at once, the chatter in the room quickly came to a halt as a tall and largely built figure clad in grey and black military garbs entered the room. He wore a black bandana covering his large bald head, and a gleaming leaf emblem on his headwear caught everyone's eye. This was Morino Ibiki--jounin leaf shinobi and general. His face, cold and cracked with the scars from endless torture attempts, revealed a wry smile and looked at all of the shinobis. With a quick gesture, he motioned all of them to follow him into a large classroom with desks and a large chalkboard in the front.

"Welcome," he said, "to your first test."

The whole group of genins taking the exam were puzzled.

"This is only the first of four that you must take in order to become a chuunin this year," his voice boomed, "So I advise you all sit down."

    Everyone sat, still puzzled.
Ibiki crossed his arms, and his assistants fanned across the rooms handing out a sheet of paper and a pencil to each genin. Each genin browsed it briefly, but knew all at once what it was.

"P...PAPER TEST?!" Naruto squawked across the room, confirming everyone's suspicion.

"Kuso," Nara Shikamaru scoffed towards the back, "tests like these piss me off."

Once tests were passed out, the assistants all filed at once into seats lining the sides of the classroom, each holding a taskboard as if the grade the shinobis from a distance. Ibiki, still with his arms crossed, spoke out again:

"As you have all guessed, the first test of this chuunin exam consists of a written test. However, this is different from other tests."

"That's because," Haruno Sakura thought to herself, "this is no ordinary test...in fact, it is almost impossible for normal genins to answer!" she concluded after skimming through the questions. This was quite a statement, because Sakura herself was the leaf's top student.

"This test," Ibiki continued, "will have certain...rules."

OOC: I'll stop there so you guys can read all that; I'll continue with the rules later--do your mixed emotions, surprises, quiet whispering or something in the mean time :D .

OOC: Awesome NPCing! Woot this RP is gonna rock!

BIC: Jerii took his seat looking down at the questions that were on the table.

"Man I do so poorly on written test, I'm more of an action man." Jerii muttered.

"I TOLD YOU TO STUDY YOU DUNCE!" Masa screamed "DIDN'T I SAY THERE WOULD PROBABLY BE AN ACADEMIC PART TO THE EXAMS!"

"Not so loud your hurting my head," Jerii thought "Dang, I thought they wouldn't care about brainy ninjas, I mean I'd rather have a powerful ninja than a smart one."

"Moron....powerful Ninjas are smart and resourceful." Mune replied

"Oh....either way I have no clue how I'm going to pass..." Jerii said.

He looked around him hoping to see a familar face. Jerii knew that this could very well be the end of his goal to become a powerful ninja and reunite his clan.

OOC: Oh You can wear your head band any way you like Candy, mine's will just be on my forehead the normal mediocre way. But some ninja wear them on their waist aka Ino or like a wierd diaper aka the fat genin on Ino's team, either way it doesn't matter wear it anyway you like!

OOC: Were all of you guys just waiting for me? Well I'll continue..I altered the rules a bit to cater to our RP. There is a trick to this test, see if you guys can find it; read my RP carefully :D

    BIC:

"The rules," Ibiki said, "are as follow."
Ibiki then took to the board and scribbled down the rules in white chalk:

    1. Test takers all start off with a perfect score of 10 points. The test consists of 10 questions and one point is subtracted from your initial total for every question answered incorrectly.

    2. Those caught cheating will lose 2 points for each offense.

    3. Those that lose all their points during the exam (by cheating) and those that fail to to answer any questions correctly will fail.

"With that, I leave you one hour to complete the test. Good luck." Ibiki concluded, as he took a position at the front of the room observing the class in silence. The test officially began.

Each genin then started the impossible task of completing the test. There were some that began to take the test with reluctance, some with prudence, and some with almost unshakable concentration. Most genins, however, sat in silence pondering their next move.

"This test is most certainly impossible--at least, for us genins to do," Mamushi thought to himself, as Sakura had previously deducted. He re-read the rules written on the chalkboard. And then again. And then again. Clearly there was some trick behind all this.

The tension in the air grew thick. One leaf genin especially felt this pressure. Little by little his neck turned and his eyes peeked at a nearby test taker's paper. Almost immediately, one of Ibiki's assistants took note of this and scribbled something onto his task board. 'Kuso!' the leaf genin said, turning away abruptly, realizing he had lost 2 points.

"10 points to start...lose 2 points each time you're caught cheating.." he thought once more. The word 'cheating' echoed in his mind repeatedly like a ringing siren; and suddenly all at once he came to a realization: "This test is no doubt not about the questions at all!"

OOC: Okay, see if you guys got that.. :D If you don't, I'll reveal what the solution is.

OOC: SORRY! I got caught with school! REPORT CARDS!

    IC:

"Hm.................WAHT THE? HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO NOW THIS?" Kunzu thought.

"Serves you right!' Mimi thought back.

"Hey! You are interrupting my thought patterns!" Kunzu said.

"SHUT UP!" Kodakero interrupted! "Cheat if you have to!" Kodakero Thought back.

Kodakero picked up her sword. She took it out and looked at it like a mirror, which it was. and could see that the person behind her was using his techinque to gain answers and lucky her he was done to #4 plenty for the time being, she layed her sword back.

The boy behind her looked up. Kodakero shot up. "This is too obvouis! I'll get caught...." she thought. "Why would they give US this...even Miheru (her older sister, oldest of the clan) will get at least a few wrong! Hm.......How many chickens? YUM!! Food! OH!! How can I be thinking about food?" Kodakero almost broke her pencil.

She looked around...sitting right infront of her was naruto. "I guess I will play the old pencil trick!" The pencil trick was a easy trick in which one would pretend to drop his or her pencil and have the other pick it up leaving there test paper WIDE open.

"Um....mind if you get my pencil?" Kodakero asked.

"Sure..." Naruto stood up and picked up the pencil. Kodakero took a quick glance at the paper. "WHAT!? HE HASN"T EVEN DONE ONE QUESTION!" Kodakero thought to herself.

"Thank you!" Kodakero took the pencil.

    "Time's almost up!" Mimi wishpered.

OOC: Yippee I finally made a sig.....is it too big? If it is I dont mind making it smaller! Thanks for the continous posting!

BIC: Jerii looked at the rules then the paper and scratched his head. He gave a loud sigh and slumped back in his chair. He didn't know anything that was on the test.

"How am I suppose to do this..." Jerii thought.

    "Simple," Masa responded.

Jerii jumped back in his chair and looked at his sword plunged into the desk.

    "Cheat!" Mune replied.

Jerii slumped back in his chair.

"I can't do that....that's not right." Jerii said "It breaks my code of honor"

"We're not breaking it." Mune said.

"We're BENDING it." Masa finished "Look, Mune and I can see other people taking the test from here, I think that pink haired ninja is doing well by the way she's looking and actually writing on the paper, and she ain't that half bad looking."

Jerii folded his arms and turned his head away from his sword.

    "I.....just can't" Jerii muttered.

"I'm proud of your integrity kid." Masa replied "Don't worry we'll get through this together."

Jerii smiled and grabbed his pencil and looked at the paper. He began to tap his pencil on the desk and tried to come up with an answer. He wasn't going to cheat, but how the heck was he suppose to answer these questions...

OOC: Wonderful, the Naruto RP has been resurrected after a brief period of inactivity :D. Let's keep it going folks. Newcomers are always welcome. On another note, let it be known that Mamushi is from the Sand Village, not the Leaf...

    BIC:

"As I see it, there are two solutions to this test" Mamushi reasoned. "It seems the primary objective of this test is to gather information, almost as if we were on the battle field itself working under the suspicions of the enemy. Information is gold to ninja villages, and this is moreso a test to gather that knowledge." Mamushi looked around and noticed that many other students have begun their searches.

Hyuga Neji and sibling Hyuga Hinata both used their Byakugans to see through people and onto their answer sheets. Inuzuka Kiba utilized the unique relationship with his pet dog Akamaru to cipher answers from nearby test takers, and Aburame Shino with his trained insects to others.

"The other solution, is not to answer the test at all. Not getting anything wrong will not deduct from your initial points, but I do not want to risk taking that route. Cheating will have to be my only option." With those words, Mamushi took action. By observation, he noticed one especially astute student positioned in the row front of him. It seemed like he was finished, leaning back on his chair. If he were to stay put indefinitely, Mamushi could acquire his answers. Setting his pencil down quietly, he made a quick succession of seals.

    "Ninpou: Stasis Fang no Jutsu!"
Just then, a single snake crept out of his sleeve and down the edge of the table. It crawled its way quietly to the unknowing student and bit his pant leg. The shinobi felt the sting, but the snake's paralyzing toxins set in faster than the bite. He sat there, motionless, with his answers exposed.

"Gomen nasai, but I am thankful for the answers." Mamushi then wrote down the stunned student's answers, satisfied with its accuracy. "I wonder how Jerii-kun is doing?"

    OOC: Okie dokie 6pt7!

BIC: Jerii began to sweat noticing there wasn't much time left in the exam. He didn't want to peer onto other people's desk or use any jutsu to help him. His pride drove him to keep himself honest and in check.

"Hmmm, it's been quite a while and you haven't answered a single question." Mune noted

"I know that, but no matter what I'm going to do this on my own even if I don't answer any questions then I'll just study my brains out for next year's exams." Jerii replied

"Don't say that, you will pass this exam and you WILL move on to the Chuunin Level." Masa said reassuringly.

Jerii smiled and began to read over the test again.

"Jeez that guy seems to have taken this test like it was nothing, it looks like he's just kicking back and relaxing." Mune replied refering to the Genin who was slumped back on his desk "He does look a little too relaxed....oh well."

Jerii couldn't get his hand to move but he could hear the ticking of the clock on the wall, time was almost up and Jerii had to think of some answers...quick!

OOC: 6pt7 I'll leave it up to you to give the Final Question in the Exam! End it anytime you wish so we can get on to the fighting woot woot! BIC:

"Time's UP!" Morino Ibiki shouted. Everyone put their pencils down. By this time, several repeat cheat offenders had been asked to leave, already narrowing the prospective number of chuunins.

"Wait a sec!" Yamanaka Ino of Leaf team 10 interrupted. "Why is question 10 blank?"

Ibiki smiled. "Good question. That is because it is completely up to the person to answer." His reply was met with many mixed emotions. "These are the conditions for the last question: you all either pick to answer it, or not."

"HA, that's an easy one! Of course we answer it!" Naruto shouted in the back.

"However," Ibiki continued, "if you get it wrong, you and your entire team will be disqualified at once--forcing them to wait another three years for the next exam."

    Naruto gulped.

"Also, answering incorrectly will permanently forfeit any rights to take the chuunin exam ever again." The classroom suddenly erupted in anxious whispers. "Quitting, on the other hand, will only come with the consequence of you and your whole team being disqualified, by which you can take the exam in the next 3 years."

    Ibiki's smile widened. "Now...choose wisely."

Jerii dropped his pencil and looked at the test. He then heard the exam instructor inform everyone that time was up. Jerii picked up his paper and glanced at his answers.

"That has got to be....." Masa trailed off.

"The most desperate attempt to get an answer for a question that I have ever seen you do...." Mune finished.

"Better to fill up the questions with made up answers then leave them blank."Jerii responded.

"But if you get them all wrong you fail!" Masa exclaimed.

Jerii totally forgot about the point system and smacked his head against the desk. He then rubbed his forehead and listened to what the instructor had said. The last question was crucial for Jerii, if he got it wrong he'd fail the exams and be forbidden to take it ever again.

"It's all or nothing." Jerii thought "No matter what the question....I'm going to do it."
