Well, seeing as I don't see many decent suggestions here, I decided to intervene. ;P

Some of the good ones I DID see consisted of Trigun and Vampire Princess Miyu. I haven't read Bleach, which Izzy suggested, but it sounds good.

What I would suggest however are the following:

Angel Sanctuary by Kaori Yuki (who doesn't love a little of blaspheming-shojo with some incest, transvestites, homosexuals, leather-clad Nazi Angels/Demons and mass amounts of death and, to top it all off, stomach-turning romance between a brother and sister. :D)

Ragnarok by Myung-Jin Lee (definitely very fitting if you like a good story-line, nicely-designed characters, and a fantasy aspect)

Hellsing by Kohta Hirano (Not exactly comedic or romantic, but it does have a tad-bit of a fantasy aspect to it, though classified as more of a Horror/Action manga)

Buuuut, then again just because all the other crud people mentioned isn't my cup of tea doesn't mean you shouldn't check them out. :p

Hey Tanemura Arina is an amazing artist and her works are totally to die for....if you like extremely amazing detail and a good storyline to go with the awesome art. Oh but it's in Japanese only currently...as far as I know.

Two of her works that I have are: Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne and ION . She has more. Look them up at www.animegamersusa.com if you want.

This is manga, but whatever. :p I haven't read much, I'm still new. I'm reading Samurai Deeper KYO, I just finished volume 14 of Love Hina. I also have the first 3 GetBackers volumes, but erm... GetBackers has a very jumpy storyline. The main one is kinda sketchy... Day by day type stuff with different missions and stuff.

I recommend Love Hina to you since I just finished that. I loved it, I read in the epilogue that there's something called Love Hina Again OVA, but I don't really know what that is (gotta look into it ^^).

.... It's not exactly like the elves, dragons etc fantasy, but it has that feel- ARIA (nice read, makes you feel good~ I believe girls would say warm and fuzzy inside...) and I guess if you want to expand into manga, there is Blade of the immortal but that is very bloody and violent (with samurai! yay)... worst of all expensive... But fun

:D You should definantly check out GTO it is the best great drawing and great plot...errr... if it has a plot but you should really give it a shot its halariose dramatic and full of action. :bleed: :D

second i would also suggest Love Hina since i finished it or pick up a shonen jump the one that has (NARUTO,SANDLANDS,SHAMING KING,ONE PEICE,DRAGONBALLZ,YUGI-OH,YUYU HAKUSHO,) when sand lands end the reaplace it with HAKIRO NO-GO, now they also put in another one but i forgot whats it call.)

Well, it depends on what you're into. I prefer that which is humourous, and emotional, without a lot of fighting.

Excel Saga was my first manga, and, believe it or not, my favorite. Stay away from the anime, though, unless you like your brain hurting.

Mahoromatic is also a very good, if ecchi, manga. It has an interesting story, with a good amount of humour mixed in.

Crest of the Stars was also quite good, but you'll need to constantly look to the back for definitions of bizarre words.

Other than that, I can't say. It depends too much on your preferences.

Well, I agree with Izzy, you should definately get "Bleach."

I have also recently been enjoying "Culdcept." I think only the first two volumes are out.

Whoever recomended "Magic Knight Rayearth," I whole-heartedly agree.

Naruto of course is always a favorite (previously recomended).

Knights of the Zodiac (alread recomended I believe).

    So yeah, that's about it.

    Lets see hear.

If you like comedy and romance then you should try Gravitation or Fruits Basket.

If you like Fantasy and Romance then you should try Juvenille Orion.

If you like Action and Romance then you should try Wild Act.

Well that is all. Bye. :D
