Man-O-Man I am in love with Outlaw Star it is really great infact it is one of my favorite Anime shows:) But i hated that guy with the green hair that was in love with Melfina(sorry if i spelled that wrong) he was so annoying (could some one tell me his name cause i forgot it:confused:). I totally loved Jean in that show he was so cool

His name was Harry MacDougal. He had a robotic arm and liked Melfina.Outlaw Star is cool.I just think it got a bad break because it came out in the same year as 2 anime powerhouses:Cowboy Bebop(Yeah!) and Trigun.Maybe a couple years before of after. It's pretty good, though.

Yeah I liked it and have kinda seen it all but I would like to buy it all. Still need the last two imported DVDs to finish my set but I can't get them until July-ish when I hop the border to Melbourne for a few days. Hopefully the place where I get stuff there has the copy I want even if they cost a fortune!

Yeah I really liked Outlaw Star too!! I think that in my opinion they should have made the series a little longer. I don't know it just seamed like it went by too fast.

But I really liked the whole relationship between Jim and Jean. I thought that was cute. They just worked so well together.

I think that my favorite person of the show was Aisha (sorry if I mispelled it). But yeah she always made me laugh. (*^_^*)

BHAAA! it only seemed short becuase it was such a good series ^__^ and sasami whats wrong with Harry without his desperate love adding a touch of insanity to the sereies it would lose somthing.

I liked Gene the best he's cool.

Well in my opinion I thought he was a little bit too crazy about Mel..... But ah well he was still a good charecter though...^_^

The only thing that really bugged me was how short the series was. I mean how many episodes was it really?

well thats traditionally how long most Anime series end up being...but anyway it came out in 1999 if i remember correctly maybe even earlier...i remember having a convo with someone who was complaining that it was a rip off of Bebop and i pointed out that Bebop came out *after* outlaw star..

I was surprised with how much I enjoyed Outlaw Star, since the friend I borrowed it from had markedly different tastes in anime from me. The "tao magic" stuff bothered me in the beginning, but I was over that real quick.

The only complaint I have is that Suzuka's character (if that's how it's spelled . . . the samurai woman) didn't have much of a point in the series, overall. Even Aisha Clan-clan had more of a role to play. And the ending felt very out-of-place, though still satisfactory.

I enjoyed the show. Not as good as, say, Bebop, but a good show nonetheless.
