Well, with the release of the anticipated X-BOX 360 comes the release of some anticipated games, and one of those games is Perfect Dark Zero, the prequel to the game Perfect Dark for the N64. The game revolves around secret agent Jo Dark, or Dark Zero, or just simply Jo to her fans. Jo works alongside her father, Jack Dark, or Point Forward. They also work with Chandra, the mission coordinator. You are fighting against the mega coporation dataDyne. You will go on many mssions, battle numerous enemies, and work alongside allies as you fight to bring dataDyne, mobsters, and simply evil, down.

    Sounds like fun. :p

It's horrible. The entire game was just..."Oh, is this Xbox360 or Sega Saturn?".

I really didn't enjoy it, the game was just...awful.

I didn't like the first one, so I'm sure this one won't be as good. The story line was just sorta blah.

Did you even take time to look at this one? It's a lot better than the first one in my opinion. There's one pun you guys gotta watch out for in level one though, it's so corny. ;) But seriously, the storyline makes more sense now in this prequel.

Let's see....if you wanna use full out of this game....

X-Box 360 (With Hard Drive, preety much how anyone MUST have it)=$400
    Perfect Dark Zero:$50
    X-Box LIVE Subscription (Headset included):$50

So that's 500 bucks...damn...I can't....So Gamespot gave it a 9.0. Oh well. I tried it, and it's not great eonugh to even make you think to buy a 360. Wanna know a great shooter?

    SOCOM 3:US Navy Seals

    Cost?

    PS2:$150
    Headset:$15
    SOCOM 3:$40

    No subscrition fees.

A tactful war game, and on a regular's budget too!

You're forgetting that 360 is really worth it. So many great games will be released for it over time, and there are some really great games out right now.

The only good game so far is Dead or Alive 4. The game's total ownage, but not something to buy a 400 dollar gadget.

It IS true what you say. Games will be released over time, but you're forgetting that over time, the price tag will go down. So it'll be worth it then.

I got my first PlayStation 2 last christmas, at 150 dollars, and THAT is now a great console with fantastic games. Hundreds two. 360 Doesn't even have 50 out right now.

This is true, waiting means you'll get it cheaper and with more games, but some people couldn't wait for their next gen console, so they had to get one right away. I got one for Christmas, so I waited a while. I got some good games, and am looking forward to getting DOA4.

A while is less than a month. I still think that after the last Perfect Dark, Zero won't promise much, especially if it's on 360.

Besides, Teddz said so. The man knows what he's saying!:p

To hell with Perfect Dark Zero. I'm playen the game right now and it handles like a sack of ****- story bleh and makes me want to barf my inner organs....God bless rentals. Also avoid Condemned...to short...even for a rental:sweat:

    DOA4. The first DOA game I will play...cause..my ps2 didn't play ..any..games.. at all:bleed2:

If you want a reason to buy the 360 then for all that is good in the world get this game The Elder Scrolls Oblivion. The reason I camped out for 21 hours to be able to play this game...and maybe Halo 3..and...Gears of War and all of the other lil goodie games that are comen for it as well.

There are several aspects on why PD:Z was horrible.

#1. The graphics. Was it really supposed to be 360 graphics? Looked like some lame PS2 graphics.

#2. It felt too repetitive. Like all FPS games, they are based on the samething, and PD:Z is not an expection.

#3. Xbox 360. That's the only thing I need to say.

Perfect Dark Zero's graphics were awesome, definately better than any PS2 game I've seen. Two, aren't all FPS repetitive in some way? I mean, look at HALO, go around a corner, shoot aliens, move on. SOCOM, sneak around, shoot bad guys, go to extraction point. Three, we all know you're a PS3 fan. ;) Heck, I probably will be too by the time PS3 rolls around, but I wanted to see games from its competitor first. I'll get to PS3 in Christmas of '06. Hopefully.

I guess that's what's more appealing to people? I had loads of fun playing Halo and Halo 2. You mostly shoot your way around, but it has a deep story (which PF:Z doesn't have) and a great soundtrack (which PF:Z doesn't have)
Surely you must have played Socom 2 then. There's much more to that. Like securing personel, restraining people, shooting people (WoW), clearing the area, infiltrating bases, using stealth, tasks like not engaging the bad guys to not get caught, or investigate stuff. Also the soundtrack is one of (if not THE ) best I've heard in a game.
Just because you like a system, doesn't mean you don't like a game because it's on ANOTHER system. For instance, I like X-Box and PS2, but I like Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (GC).

I think the point some are trying to get to is, the game is just not good, the graphics are dissapointing for a New-Gen system.

You do know if you buy the premium package you get the headset with it right? :p

I own SOCOM 2. I've beaten it, I know what the game's like. Sure they had a little 'bit more to do than other FPS games out there, but hey, now it whimpers in the shadows of some of the FPS of today. SOCOM 3. :D

I understand that. I'm a fan of all the systems, especially when GC got RE:4, now that was fun.

Hold up there, it's Next-Gen Seishin, NEXT-GEN. Get it right. :p

More like overhyped, although not so much for the first HALO game. The second one, everyone made a big deal about it. The only thing fun about HALO 2 was the online multiplayer, becuase the story wasn't that good, and they left people on a clifhanger. And now they're releasing HALO 3 for the 360, some HALO fans won't be able to find out if Master Chief does "finsih this fight".

It's worth like 400 dollars! You're still not getting your money's worth for a system with like 30- games.
Socom is third person. Sure you can press the up arrow to go into a "first person" like mode, but all you have is the pointer, and it's somewhat odd.
Try playing that game in the night, alone, with an 1000 WATT Surround Sound System.oO
    Yeah yeah..:D
Actually, you might wanna hold on on that. It's not Halo 3 right now, but a remake of Halo 2. Better Graphics, more weapons, more levels (finally Sidewinder included!!!), oh yeah, and how could I forget? Bigger price tag! Back to fifty (if not sixty) dollars!

It was 350 for me. :D True, but I'm waiting for more games to be released.

Well then my bad. :p Please smite my person from this earth.

I've done so myself. I had a few pairs of pants next to me just to be sure. ;)

Yes, Shijin is right. Come on, keep admitting it. It gives me strength to carry on through the day. Like Jesus!... juice. :p

Why does Bungie do this to us?
