I'm pretty sure he meant GTA 3... Your character never talked and he was every mobster's puppet. At least Master Chief talked.

No, I meant GTA:3. The guy just goes around and asks for jobs. Which is fun, yet somehow stupid.

Master Chief talks in the first one, but he's kinda shy. Has a cool voice though. On the second one, he really really talks. Most annoying line?

Commander:Master Chief? You mind telling me what the hell you're doing on that ship?
    Master Chief:Sir....Finishing this fight...(Halo theme)

Score nother point for Shijin. :p Master Chief's voice is awesome. It's really deep and intimidating. He's so dreamy...

I'm not gay. :D The novels tell you why Master Chief is so hardened and stuff. They're a great read, and yes, that IS the most annoying line. Uh, Cortana's hott! *Runs off*

The voice IS bada**, and it fits him perfectly. The spanish however...pfff!! ROFL. That's all I can say.
Indeed the novels are interesting. I've heard of a PF:Z novel. That true?

And I don't consider Cortana hot, but she is attractive....

I don't think that there ever was a Perfect Dark Zero novel. If there was one I'd probably already own it. :p Cortana... I'd go out with her on a date, surfing the wild wild websites. ;)

Multiplayer is just as much part of the game as single player. If you're going to ask "why should multiplayer define a game?" then in the same breath ask "Why should single player define a game?". They're both solid parts to the same game, each aspect as important without the other. Imagine Half Life without multiplayer capabilities- we would have never seen CS. WarCraft and StarCraft- Both of those great games made even better (for many- Defined) by thier multiplayer experience, case in point.

Multiplayer is as vital to the games they support as single player. In both cases you can have one without the other (Fable, Jax and Dexter, AM's Alice- Single player games with no multiplayer; WoW, RO, Evercrack- Multiplayer w/o single player), are you going to ask the same question "Why should Multiplayer/Single player define a game" in these scenarios?

^depends on what you mean by multiplayer...actually it doesn't..at least not with console games. The majority of console gamers play offline singleplayer. PC gamers i'm not too sure about. I think singleplayer is more important because without a single player there is no story..at all (unless you're talking about a game without much story anyway such as an mmog). I wouldn't want to buy a game just for the multiplayer but i would want one just for the single player. This is mainly because the single player is generally more in-depth and should give you more of a bang for your buck. And as for the realism in games...i don't know about you but i don't have a tank....or a rocket launcher.....or any other firearm to play with outside. In short i want my physics. Some games are meant for realism even if they are sci-fi. For example...Killzone....this game is completely sci-fi but many parts of the game are completely logical and realistic.

On topic: i like pdz's environments but that's about all.
