Its unfortunate, but then again you couls kinda see it coming this time round. ANd i really don't need to see it on every bloody tv channel at the same time, hes dead i get the point.

But apart from that, Farewell your Holiness.

I'm really thankful for him. All my life, John Paul II has been the Shepherd leading the Roman Catholic Church. I took it for granted for years that he'd always be alive. He deteriorated pretty quickly this year, then his death on Divine Mercy Weekend.
I pray that they choose a good and strong new leader for the Church and that Karol Wojtyla finds rest in the arms of God. It's actually amazing he died on the first saturday of the month, a feast day held dear to Our Lady of Fatima and to many faithful.

John Paul 2, We Love You

The Pilgrim Pope has just made his greatest journey.. I thank him for everything he did for Catholics and this world.

Hehe, I'm proud to have "John Paul" as my middle name :)

It's kind of ironic though because they just put in his feeding tube a couple of days ago and they took out the feeding tube of that girl in Florida Tara Shelvick(or something like that) and they both died.

I may not be a catholic, but Pope John Paul II was a great man. He's led a long life and done much good. He has much to be proud of, as he climbs the stairway to heaven.

    Rest in Peace.

I may not know the guy but, I hate it when people die...
It's not fair we can walk hand in hand with them their whole lives and then
bam they leave and have to walk alone.

Seeshy's girl- I'm not sure if that comment was too whimsical, or just odd...

Pope John Paul was a good man, and he traveled the world to spread the teachings of god. I have only known one as Pope since my birth, andf that was him. Goodbye your holiness. Your among others of your cause now.

Ah, I just found out and the source happened to be MSN's news. >< I can't believe how much I missed and what.

It's still a shock, since I've always thought he'd be there, for a long time. I guess I also took it for granted. He had always inspired me. And I'm thankful for him. He did so much, and had too much responsibility. The responsibility involving the whole world. As sad as I feel over his loss, it is good knowing he could finally rest. Even for me, it would be too much, being there for the whole humanity. I wish him happiness along with all the other Popes by God's side up in Heaven.

I admired the pope. He'll always be the only Pope for me. His contributions should never be forgotten.

I share your honst thoughts for this man. What he has done for so many people, will be hard to live up to for the next chosen Pope.
John Paul II exelled in his title as pope, and I honestly think that no one could do it better.

    God rest his soul.
