its not. I got this ova too. all it was was Quon talking and playing violin. There's a Candidate For Goddess exactly like it, of course with someone else with a monologue about life.. anyways can't wait to see RahXephon the movie.

 

There's also Evangelion's "Air" and "My Pure Heart For You", which retold the episodes 23 and 24 to better fit into the movie. Not a direct comparison, but I think they used Interlude as a stepping stone to the movie.

Anyway, I re-re-resurrected this thread because of good news.

Rahxephon Tagen Hensoukyoku (AKA: the RahXephon Motion Picture) is being released in the US this July 20th. It's gonna be in an amazing box, for those limited edition collectors.

Basically, those who didn't like the original RahXephon box release, they'll get another chance to be happy because Tagen Hensoukyoku comes with a special art box that will fit all 8 (counting the movie) DVDs! The box design is also nicer than ADVs original release box, as I think it's too simplistic. The Limited Edition release will also come with an artbook. Now, all they need to do is to (hopefully!) release the Rah Bible here!
