    He's holding it open for the guys at the door (basically everyone playing except Ranma, Akane, and Kuno, who's across the street at the noodlestand...in other words, if Kuno even tried to get in, the door would slam in his face...)

    A quick question out to Kei-kun and Zanshi-san regarding your characters' backgrounds:

    1) How is it that you ended up in Japan recently (a small history lesson of your guy, perhaps) ?

    and (somewhat related to the first)

    2) How familiar is that character familiar with Japanese customs/formalities (don't even bother to point out the language barrier we've already broken!) ?

    oh, and Meaikoh_Takashi:

    Akane is still being held for your character - jump in any time you're ready!!!

    Here's the deal with el señor Purazuma:
    He's a low-profile professional wrestler from Mexico who's looking to make it big. Naturally, Japan, "the Home of the Death Match" as any Mick Foley fans may know it, is a great place to start.
    So, Ken left his home on the America-Mexico border to meet his destiny in Japan. Upon reaching the country, he immediately set out to find a residence, and he used what little money he had saved to rent out a small basement apartment. He was, unfortunately, unable to find work wrestling as of yet, so he now just does whatever odd jobs he can, often for his landlord, and performs as a wrestler at small shows in night clubs, etc.
    In his spare time, Purazuma took classes on Japanese history, culture, and the like. However, one night at a small show, tragedy befell the young grappler. He was wrestling in the opening match of the night against a witch-doctor themed wrestler named "Baron Samedi". The match was being watched by a talent scout for a national wrestling league, and in the match, Ken did his favourite move, the Purazuma Power Bomb, on Samedi. The scout was impressed. However, Samedi didn't get up. He didn't even move. He was knocked out by the impact, and his right arm looked like it had been knocked out of joint. After the match, Samedi's manager uttered "I curse your pants!" at Ken, and the curse of the WerePants was born. The scout found out about the injuries caused by Ken's attack, and he never heard from him again.
    To make matters worse, Ken's culture teacher was a Samedi fan, and kicked him out of the class. He therefore only has a basic knowledge of the culture of Japan, and must rely on experience to teach him the rest.

    I've actually got the whole next scene ready to go...but I just want to try and figure out how the "new" characters would react....

    Hence, the waiting on UK's reply...

    Then, we're back in business!

    Hehehe, the "incredible fabulous fantabulous space rpg"...as I've titled it...a general anime sci-fi that I almost was crazy enough to start up here at M2A...

    Actually just thinking about it... Buru probably shouldn't have a curse... too many of those circulating anyhow. As for why he's in Japan, his parents are Japanese Nationals, (hence his name is Japanese) His parents went to Brazil while he was young, taking him along. (There are Tons of Japanese peoples in Brazil... well... according to a few friends of mine) That's where he picked up Portugese and Brazilian Capoera. He speaks Japanese with a Portugese accent. He recently returned with his parents to finish his schooling in Japan (where the girls are more reserved... he'd been too many 'problems' among the students in the schools in Brazil.
