Recreation Republican or Democrat?

Mm... I registered to vote as an independent, but honestly, I tend to favor the Democrats. Overall I disagree with almost every "Republican" policy that's caught my eye. My problem is that the Republicans tend to cater to the religious right - the overly-conservative people. Besides which, I do support abortion (NOT as a method of birth control, nor for people too lazy to use a condom, but in cases where it really isn't something either parent planned or can deal with, and in more extreme circumstances); many Republicans don't. I also support gay marriage, environmental protection, and other issues that tend to be seen as "Democrat" values.

But on the whole... I think the country'd be better off if I were running it. Eheheh.
