"Someone else...?". Tailki said as he looked back at the portal with one hand on his arm as if he were cold, he then looked back ahead and contiunued to follow the sailors.

"Dont worry. It should be soon."

 

The Demon Lord sighed heavily as the younger of his speices murdered the unfortunate Notos. "Fool, your rushing things." He whispered harshly under his breath. All of the preperations where not complete and fool had already made thier presance known! He shook his head irritably. Had the young fool taken a moment to study any of the various and sundry people surronding his victim, he would have noted that several of those gathered had the power and indeed had used thier power to defeat varied members of the Dark Royalty that had assaulted this particular planet. The demon lord himself had chosen a more human shape then his breather, much as thedark royalty and dark force had. He was only slightly taller then an average human, with midback length white hair, which was now in a pony tail. The only telling difference in his some what average build where his glowing red eyes, eyes that glowed all the redder in the wake of the latest development. He whispered something to the very air around him, and two score dark imps came to his call. They stood a little over 4'6 tall, and each resembled nothing so much as wrinkled old men, albiet old men body builders, with each carrying a weapon of its choice. The demon nodded his approval. They were not his elites, but they should serve to defeat this........riff-raff. Beryl and many like her had failed. he would not. "Master Malice." An imped wheezed at him. "What should we do?" Malice merely smiled at the creature and nodded, opening the portal wider. "Destroy any who oppose us." His whisper was sibilant, and much like his name, malicious. Silently, the some odd forty imps stalked thru the portal, taking positions aroun d the gathered warriors. Malice smiled. Now, it was beggining.

OOC. You all know how the whole 'destroy varried and sundry minions' thing goes, so have a bit of fun with that.

"What is this place?" Sailor Tear Star stood serounded by mirrors along with with the others behind her. "A mirror maze?" She put her left hand on a mirror. The image was different. Darker, "I sapose..." She took her hand off the Mirror, "This place is giveing the the creeps. We should get out of here as soon as possible. This would be a likely spot for the enimy to attack."

 

"Why don't we try blasting our way thru the mirrors?" Sailor Cosmos Asked. "Cosmos...." She said powering up and felt a new attack coming to her. "Tide Of Destruction!" The mirror she hit blew apart. "What?! She said, stunned. "This only blew one mirror?! This is my strongest attack!"

Sailor Tear Star jumped in the way of the next attack, "You idiot! You'll stater the whole place if you hit the right spot. We have to find our way though with out killing our selves, remember." She moved, "Do you understand?"

 

Malice smiled slightly. They'd made a mistake, coming to this room. They knew it. Well, they should have known it. The mirrors where ages old, and even he wasn't sure how to operate them. He'd never needed to worry about it though. But it was almost time toset the stage for his arrival. he sighed, and appeared over the mirror that had just been smashed. He leveled his gaze towards Selen. "Fools and children. I ask for a meal, and they send me fools and children. Not very filling." He said saracastically. He snapped his fingers, and his minions stepped from thier positions, effectively surronding the small group. "Perhaps, if you live thru this small test, you may prove to be of some small use after all." He said, sounding rueful. "But I doubt it. And even if you do." He smiled wickedly. "The mirrors will claim you." And with a nod of his head, all forty minions rushed in to attack.

OOC No plans on modding here, don't worry.

Edgars head snapped around as he felt a familiar surge of power. There, that was him! But, even as he felt the blast, it made him woozy. This thing........it was monstrous! And.......it triggered something......a memory..........was it.......a palace? In the sky? No, more like.......... He shook his head increduously. Impossible! The moon? He sighed and hopped from the building. The fall should have killed him. It really should have. But, on that day, oh so long ago now, he'd found out that he was...different. He had abilities, he could do things, like it or not. It firghtened him though, so he tried hard no to use what he had been given. But , given the circumstances, he didn't feel like he had much time to wase in climbing down the building. he hit the ground running, and in a matter of moments, found the portal and a mutilated body. Edgar growled slightly, and hit the portal at a run. He sensed there where others in here, ahead of him, and a simple matra kept running thru his mind. "God, don't let me be to late again!"

 

"Um guys...this doesn't look good.", Tailki said as he saw an imp coming out from behind a mirror, "What are those things.", he said as he backed up along with the Tear Star and Cosmos, they were back to back toback in the middle of the room surrounded by imps.

ooc: um what happened to Mika??

OCC: Mika got knocked out, so I asked cosmos to leave the portal open for her and Edgar, and another thing. SELEN IS DEAD!!!! She's not in this one any more. It's Notos now, at least, I think he's still in it.

OC: "We've had worse," Sailor Tear Star Said, her voice still a bit shakey. She kept looking to different directions. Scanning to make sure none of the others would make the first attack, "Both of you, stay close to me." She raised her pole, and it started to glow, "Icolation Cat's Eye!" She shouted, suddenly, thousuands of I cey Needels appearred and flung torwards the Imps, hitting about ten.

 

Mika Ran up behind them, the collar still on her, but she had control over herself for now. "Imps? Great...." She slashed at a few, but they overcame her; hence the fact she was rather weak.
"What happened to Noto's???" She looked to Tear Star, then noticed the many mirrors. "Where the hell are we?"

"I think it's some sort of maze. But I'm not sure." Tear STar shouted as she threw Imps to the side, "Notos was killed by a shadow. Oh1" SHe looked to her sides, "Where the hell did he go?"

 

"I um... I don't know...." She gets a claw across her right eye and many bite marks on her arms. "Ow! Get OFF of me!!!!!"

 

"There's so many of them. I don't know if there are thousands of them or the mirrors are playing tricks on me!", Tailki said while backing up to a mirror as three imps pose ready to pounce on him and he put his arms in front of his face and turns away, "Ahh."

Sailor Tear Star jumped in the way, "Cowards. Pick on somebody oyur own size, or better yet, me!"

 

Sory I'm late.

Edgar rounded the bend to the mirror room full speed, noting with passing interest that all three mediums appeared to be covered. One was holding her own, another was tearing vast holes thru the imp offensive, and one was being swarmed under. But none appeared to be dead yet. He sighed a sigh of relief and loosened is greatsword from where it hung on his back. He took a deep breath and relaxed as much as he could, remembering his training, and everything he'd learned about himself and his strange abilities in the past year. then, with a slight grunt, he wrapped his sword in incandecant energy and swung it in a heavy overhand slice, screaming "Justice Arc!" As he did so. The group of imps nearest Mika, some odd six strong, suddenly found themselves obliterated, and Edgars foreward momentum had just begun. He dashed forward, hearing Tailki's peril, he wung his sword in three heavy arc, neatly clipping each one into nice little halves, and letting the momentum of his sword swing around until he was in a crouched position, the sword blade running down the length of his leg. Without knowing why, he stared up in absolute hatred at the demon that hovered just above the foreward mirror in the room, and silently, he placed on his mask. It was a simple thing, thre forths of the Tragedy mask, with only his left eye and the surronding area uncovered, and it was more to mask his emotions from the world then it was to hide his face. He rasied his voice enough for the varied people around him to hear and said simply. "Sorry I'm late."


OOC Sorry about that Selen thing, not paying as much attention as I should forgive me.

The shock that registered on Malices face only betrayed a little of what he felt. Not him again! Not this again! Malice sighed and shook his head, speaking in a venomous whisper to Edgar. "I destroyed your village for the sole sake of killing you, or of at least destroying your spirit, and I find you here?! Tacky." He muttered almost to himself. While the young mand did move with his usual grace, there was definitely something missing from this encounter.........and there it was. The young paladin didn't recognize from before! he knew he'd murdered his village in this life time but............."You don't remember." It was a statement, not a question. "Interesting." And with that, an addition thirty imps stepped thru various mirrors, images just as real as the imps now stalking the beleagured heroes. Malice sighed and floated back slightly, waiting to play his trump card, and quite suddenly glad he'd thought of making it in the forst place.

 

Tailki opened his eyes to see Tear Star standing before him and someone he did not know charging toward the imps. They were destroyed.
"Thank you Tear Star, thank you...huh...", Tailki thought for a moment as if trying to remember Edgars name however he never knew it, "Thank you.", he said then looked pass Edgar to the mirrors behind him and he pointed, "Uh...Those things reflections are coming to life!"

 

OOC: This is going a little too fast dont ya think, I couldnt come on for homeworking problem and one more page was completed. Could we slow the pace?

IC: "Yeah, Thanks I guess" Sailor Cosmos said with a look of dejection in her face "I could have handled them myself" she thought. Let's find the Imps' lair now!

 

OOC: Yea, I was noticing that ,I apoligize. I usually try to wait for every one to get a response in before I move on, but I rushed it this time. Sorryabout that.

IC Edgar smiled slightly thru his mask as he stood up, nodding to the new wave of imps, along with the remainder of the old one, all told some sixty three imps. "Still plenty more to share." He then waved his sword in the general direction of the floating Demon Malice. "And we still have that one to deal with before we go anywhere." And without further adieu, he picked the nearest wave of enemies and ran screamign at them, hoping to get some sort of coverage from the assorted individuals.

 

"Cosmos Tide Of Destruction!" Sailor Cosmos yelled destroying all the Imps in sight. But more came. "What?!" She yelled in annoyance. "Still more?! What are we gonna do if it doesnt end!" She said.
