Samurai X *spoilers*

Has any heard? On the new anime channel that they're making, they're going to pass Samurai X which I think is based on Rurouni Kenshin. It has Tomoe instead of Kaoru though for those who like her better (I don't ).

Aside from that, they'll also pass the Samurai X movie so watch out for it.

 

its not based on the anime the OVA is from the Jinchuu Arc. technically its a seprate series but it all comes from the rememberance arcs. since they never animated the JInchuu arc they made that seprate series out of it.

Wow, where do you guys live? I wish we had an anime channel. We have to live off of teh toonami/action channel/channel 20/fox/ kid wb crap!

 

I think it's a channel for America only. I don't know. I've heard that. I'm still waiting for it to come out but I'm not sure if my mom's Direct TV will get it.

New Anime Channel, ORO?

 

Is the anime channel such big news that barely anyone's heard about it? It's getting to be big news now. How weird that most people look like this when someone mentions an anime channel.

 

well i saw and advertisment in the Newtype magazine...

 

And there's even a website for it, which is where I got my info. I forgot the URL though. It was a thread in the anime section though.

 

i have heard rumors about it...i haven't seen it come out ehre in Cali so...i dunno...but it would be sooo awesome if it came!

 

I live in Houston. Sadly, as far as anime, we're completley off teh map. It's such a huge city, and yet as far as anime, all most know is DBZ and tokyopop "authentic" manga. But really, if it was authentic manga, wouldn't it be in Japanese? o_o

*strokes crappy computer lovingly* I have cable now, but it's still not that fast. $30 bucks a DVD is too expensive for me! I download anime from WinMX... although I always buy my manga.

 

I would also like to see it but the only beef I'll have with it is that it has Tomoe and not Kaoru. I'm a Kenshin/Kaoru fan. They go better together. ^^ *expects a lot of flames for that comment *

 

Ya sure there's an anime channel? I been dreaming and wishing there be such a thing ever since I was 5 years old. I only got one friend at my school that know as much about anime as me. Okay, I know more than her. Like I said before, ya sure? *Continue wishing and praying*

 

Yeah, I've been wishing, too! It's real, but only in some cities. -_- Just depends on where ya live.

 

yep its out there its called the anime network and its so far only available in some place so we'll all have to wait for it to spread...and Inu-loves-kago no flames from us...we're not like that hehe we respect your opinion and we can see why...well i can...kinda...sortof...not really...but i do see why you would think that hehe...^_^

 

And they have YTV or something in Canada which is basically anime, right?

 

i've never heard of it...in my house there is this weird thing now sitting on top of the tv...its a cable box of some kinda and it picks up transmitions from all over the world or something...maybe i can check to see if they have the anime network...i hope i hope....i hate technology i never know whats going on hehe
