Movies Signs

That really was a good movie. I loved it. I think it was more saspense than really a scary flic.

the writer was said to me the next Steven spielburg. he even made an apperence in it, his name is M. Knight Shamyllan(sp) he played the guy who killed Mel Gibsons wife in the movie.

It was an excellent movie and I think everyone should see it.

 

That movie was good. Especially the end**Spoiler**( if you havn't seen it) when they thought that the house was all clear but there was still an alien in the house. That was scary! I scar easy huh? But wasn't that Mackully Culkin's(sorry if I spelled it wrong) Lil bro as Mel Gibson's son? I think it was.

Yeah I think he has like 7 siblings total! Another brother of his is suposed to be in a movie soon.He's older. He's probably like 18,19...or 20. I can't remmeber though.

Well, I thought it was as scary as any movie I've seen, I just don't find movies scary. I thought it was good. Not a work of genious, but a good no-brainer.

ERm... I hate this movie! I thought it would be something good and crop circles is like WOW a great phenomenon.. once I've watch it, I can see no relation to why there are crop circles and mad aliens trying to invade the earth.

 

Skuld, you did not put a spoiler alert. You are not even supposed to know that there are aliens in this movie.

I downloaded it on my PC once and thought it was an alright movie. I was not expecting aliens to even be in this movie. In the beggining of the movie it was a mystery and than as we got to the end it turned into a Horror movie. Which was really unexpected, at least for me. That is why I like the movie, I like mysteries and movies where you do not expect what is going to happen next.

 

erm :sweat: When I went to the cinema, it actually said "Science Fiction movie" and I though hint hint spoiler"aliens"

Some parts of it were pretty scary, like at the end when they're in the basement, I was in the cinema and I kept my feet up on the chair 'cos I was a little too freaked out.

But the aliens, when you see them, weren't scary. The fact that they're scary is more phycological because you can't see them (properly).

Um, I don't think there's any spoilers here right...?

 

I didn't actually find it scary--like ShadowHawk, I just find it really creepy--especially that part when Mel Gibson chopped off the aliens fingers...the sound that the alien made was gut wrenching...

The ending was kinda bad--there was something lacking...

Overall, I didn't like Signs. Some parts just seemed silly, and I question how it's possible for a life form that can live in our atmosphere to be damaged by water.

What kind of alien tries to invade with unarmed soldiers?

Especially when they're bloody weakness is water! That's so stupid!!!

 

I thought over all that the movie wasnt too bad. I agree that the ending was lacking though, it was missing something. The plot line was good though.

The first time I saw this movie was with my brother when we went back to Oklahoma to see my "so called" father. Anywho, I didnt really find the movie all that scary until Mel Gibson went to look under the door with the knife and the aliens hand came out from under the door. Fortunatly I was sitting next to a really cute guy, and it scared me so bad I jumped in his lap...:shy3: It was rather humiliating, but it was enjoyable. errr...I mean...never mind.

I just rented the movie tonight. I haven't watched it yet, though. It's actually after 1 am, and I don't feel like sitting through a movie.

As sad as it is, I wound up babysitting tonight (saturday night) and so I took my nephew to get a Winnie the Pooh movie and got 'Boiler Room' (to suit my Vin Diesel craving for a minute) and 'Signs' because I wanted to go see it in the theater, but never had the time.. I guess I'll get around to watching sometime either Sunday afternoon or Monday afternoon.


What got me on the previews, though, was the little girl talking to Mel Gibson w/ the "there's a monster in my room, can I have a glass of water?" bit in the trailers.:dizzy2: It was just creepy to me, so I wanted to see it. I love creepy movies.

The plot woz lacking 'cos they never tell you exactly what happened to the rest of the world, which ****ed up the ending.
