Just a little joke thread....

In your hometown or whatever, what do the slang words the people use mean? Here are some of mine....

"Sch-tate!" ; "Oh my God! Look at the state that you are in at this moment!"

"nip" ; "Kiss"

"Am Gonnae' belt ya!" ; "I am going to fight/hit you"

"Healthy Beez!" ; A general positive remark....


"Uuuuuuuh...." ; the answer to every possible question on the planet.

'Good Daryl To You' = 'Good Day To You'

 

Slang, eh?

"Skanking" - A method of dancing where you throw your arms wildly about. Usually done in a...

"Circle Pit" - Mosh pit

"Stallmaster" - My dad's car.

"The 7" - Teh Local Seven, a warehouse dance thingy for punk/hardcore bands

"F*** off" - Another possible remark to everything in the universe.

 

Freakin irish ppl. tbh. lol

"ey, be careful out there, slippy out" ~Hey, be careful out there it's slippery.

"Feckin dirties sittin on the wall."~Stupid dirty people (skanks tbh) sitting on the wall outside the post office. The wall is infamous.

and, the ever used one, which isn't *really*slang but is said so much it could be called a...uh...*saying*

"see yas later"~see you later (but you have to say it right!)

all the ppl my age also say "super" alot before they say something.

"I saw this super big guy outside the Clover the other day!" (the Clover being the grocery store)

Hum, here's some (and usage in the ()'s too)

Shiznak (Thats the shiznak) ---> awesome
Phat (Thats phat) --> cool (or kewl)
Homes (wut up homes) ---> friend, buddy, something close...
Cap (i'll put a cap in your @$$)---> bullet
Welps (used mainly online or in e-mails)---> well
Buttmonkey (you buttmonkey) ---> means dumbass, or idiot {at
least me and my friends use it}
CYA (abbreviation) ---> Cover Your @$$
Beaner ---> a mexican, hispanic, or latino person (hey, i'm
hispanic, soI can say that ).
Duby [pronounced doo-bee] (let me smoke this duby) ---> a
cigareet, or the other rolled up thing you smoke (I
personally don't smoke, but I know people who do)

 

i have some sentences, not just one word. hope thats ok.

Dont start me = Dont annoy me, unless u wanna fight

G'Day mate= hello
Fair Dinkum= really?
Tucka= food
sport= good kid/ guy
G'd on ya= well done

---Job Related Slang---
"Broke" (Eg. Room 2 broke.) - The surgery in the room has finished.
"Beebo" - An electonic cutting machine, named for the noise it makes. (BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-booooooo...)
"Slab" - Severed body part, dead body.

muppets= idiots/fools/stupid people etc

Gaf= house

Gonna legger down the shops= (rather self explanatory)

Savage = really good/brilliant/etc

Sh*te out, f*** out = the addition of "out" to the end of a swear word, this is infectious and I use it on occasion but have no idea of the significance.

Sound Head = A decent/likeable person

 

****house/ ****hole/ hellhouse/ hellhole =school, some place bad.
S C P= Snap Crack Pop= people who crack theyre nuckles (me)
Brain Strain= Stress
drop the bomb= commit suicide
chizel= big guy with little head
smokey= some guy on drugs

spiffy= that's cool
tight= that's cool

I can't think of any others, we just have some really strange people in my area of the world.
