How amazing! A treat made out of sugar gives you energy?! Whoa!

    ...Ugh.

Ten bucks says that, eventually, some deranged Dragonball Z fan will pretend these are the magic beans from the show that give you all your energy back and will smuggle them into his classes at whatever McDojo he attends.

Well.. for students in school, it would be easier chewing on those in class quickly then to go without an energy drink..

Have you ever tasted an energy bar? Those things are nasty. The drinks aren't all that great either. I wonder how these beans would taste.

I might buy them to try em out and see if they work, there's no correlation between buying an easy to eat food that gives you a rush of energy with stupidity though.

    If you like eating drywall...

These are probably just regular jellybeans with a cup or two of whatever they add to sports drinks and energy bars in every 10,000 gallon batch of beans. Because they add that chemical they can legally mark up the price and proclaim it as an 'energy food'. Ever heard of the Placebo Effect? The sugar rush probably does more for you than the 'juice' they add to make these beans special.

Yes the sugar is the main(if not only) source of energy, however they are not empty calories.
    Serving size 1 oz. Callories 100, Sodium 60 mg, Potassium 60 mg, Carbohydrates 25 g, Vitamin C 20%, Vitamin E 20%.

Hmm I guess I was a bit too bored.

I also wouldn't mind trying them out I am always tired. I have to literally eat less carbs to have any energy. It does have carbs though it could put me to sleep. It would be just my luck.

I know that but there is a limit. And the kind you get is a factor. :p Plus, I am just strange. I regulated my carb in take to 20 g once. I had plenty of energy. Above 20 I am tired. Don't ask me how or why. I don't get a lot of my carbs from sugar. I think I need to go back (yeah Akins) and regulate it. There is probably to much insulian being produced. But I don't have high blood sugar. There is a miniuim of 50 - 100g daily from what I found out. I hope I can bring it up slowly to where I am not tired. I have to force myself to stay awake sometimes.

Anyway these should be good carbs but for a quick boast I am thinking sugar related.

I was cranky as a mofo when I was in atkins...
I loosed weight though, but I gained it all back when I left the diet (how typical)
anyway, now I'm eating less in my portions at a 4 dishes a day speed
and a fruit or a low calorie treat for behaving
I'M IN CHARGE OF MY DIET, so I know that if I cheat no wine nor yogurt for me for being piggy

Carbohydrates are made of sugar molecules, essentially.

Interesting... Although I honestly can't see this idea lifting off. Maybe it's just me, but I really don't want to see commercials about these things replacing the Gatorade commercials.

Well if I lost electrolytes due to sweat, I'd drink, not chew and swallow something dry. I don't see it replacing gatorade ads.. we just need to wait and see how things turn out..
