Anyone who adores the Stragedy Game StarCraft?

I love it, and i've played it since the game was realised in Europe.

It's pretty good but I prefer Total Annihilation.

It was a 4vs4comps game...and well, i said to them, ally and so on...suddenly they attacked me! And i went:

" Same Team Guys "

And they Went:

"Oh! My God! The Computer Talks Back!"
And this other guy went like:
"**** You Mother****er Computer **** Die"

I've started playing this game two years ago. I've never been that good tbh. The only game made by Blizzard that I was really good is Diablo II: Lord Of Destruction where I owned everyone who dared dueling me Ah memories.. I've stopped playing games since like.. 6 months..

You've got to be kidding.. LOL! N00bs dont change I guess. Hahahahaha. This reminds me of good ol' days playing. Some of the newbs sucked so bad. Some of them started saying your team sucks and two minutes later you rape them like hell.

Most Funny Thing on StarCraft and n00bs is that...they attack me with...4 marines...and i have like 50 sunken colonys defending my base....and the even worser thing is that they attack the computer with like...ghosts :glazed:

SC brings back memories... I used to spend 'sooooo' many hours on Bnet! Now I just spend 'so' many hours on Bnet!

I would love to start playing again one day... want to know why I am still waiting to play? Because everyone just plays money maps without any "clutter". By playing these extra lucrative maps (usually a Hunters variation), they destroy the need to expand and the need to manage resources efficiently and carefully, which is a big part of the strategy of this game. All you see these days are zerg players with enough hatcheries to max out their control each time they morph larvae from just 30 control to max, or a protoss player with 8-10 gateways pumping out mass dragoons. PLEASE, IF THERE IS ANYONE OUT THERE THAT HAS A TASTE TO PLAY ON LEGIT, NON "MUCHO MONEY" MAPS PM ME!!! Just say no to money maps!

 

Starcraft is the best, my top favorite PC game even after the few years since i've gotten it. i think i heard somewhere there coming out with with a starcaft game for gamecube where u r a ghost and have to do all these missons and stuff Starcaft:Ghost or something ill look more into it either ways its going to be great

 

Most people play money maps = bad thing.

But the truth is that most people won don't play money maps just play LT, which is also a bad thing!

 

Thank you for that fresh breath of agreement! Anyone else out there tired of the tyranny of money maps? Bring back the old school strategy that is the TRUE Starcraft!

I love Starcraft, and all the Warcraft games.

 

I play BW. I pretty much suck like hell tho. So yeaz, but I still like the game, it's fun.

 

Personally when it comes to real strategy I very much prefer Total Annihilation. Defensive structures that actually do their job (good luck rushing if they have a couple Light Laser Turrets up!), armies on a much larger scale, a resource system that relies more on balancing income with spending than hoarding cash, 'super' units that actually are super (Krogoth is a living nightmare!), an actual physics engine, complete with modifers for height and distance, and naval units! So help me God, I love a game with naval units!

 

Yeah I've heard of Total Annihilation. They say it was really good, but it got swamped out by the anticipation of starcraft, and was nearly forgotten. I want to try it out one day. But I can tell you right now... nothing beats the pure satisfaction of bringing in 8+ overlords behind an enemy base and dropping scores of hydralisks and lurkers..... ah *^_^*.... Anyway, total annihilation is really hard to find these days in retail stores, at least where I live.
