PLease Please PLease tell me why Sephiroth is being voted as the best villian

Everyones voting for Sephiroth because , he looks cool , hes gotta big sword and he killed Aries , but i dont think he was as evil as Kefka
Its a throw up between :
Sephiroth : Meteor to Earth
Kekfa : Turning Earth into a wasteland and gettin everyone to worship him

Heero Yui is the only one who has it right.. KEFKA is the Best villian ever created..

one he muddered an intire castle with poison
He looks like a clown.. Evil writen all over that
he kills the emperor for his own gains to power the destroys the earth,
Once the earth is on runes he still kills ppl just for fun..
He is all powerfull but still likes to toy with his enemies for fun..
He Cares nothing for anything.
He Kills JUst cause he can and he loves it..


All Sephiroth has is a cool look with a cool sword.. He has no character beside;s being pissed off cause he is a clone. Therefor he thinks its his right to kill the world. Bif whoopie DO.. thats a shity vilian if you ask me...


So kefka is NUMBER ONE because unlike most of the other FF series he is the one of the only Villians that has MAJOR character Development from a piss ant to Killer of all!..

none of this.. Monster Villian come back from exil to kill all garbage..

And one mor thing.. Shadow was actualy supose to Die in ff6 but the american version changed it so you could keep him around..

He dies at the hands of Kefka's Madness Trying to save the lives of the other FF Characters..

(So ppl looking for another game where they kill one of the coolest characters FF6 has it.. But the american version tried to change that)

I guess...Kefka does seem hardcore evil to me, although I haven't finished the game, what with what he did to Terra and all...
Sephiroth, the fact remains that he did kill Aeris and even if Shadow was supposed to die, he didn't for us so (shrugs).

But I will admit that square made him a tad to easy to beat..

Hey just imagine Kefka entering the world of FF10.. what will become of all the ppl. He'll probably steal all the magic and summons and might as well take control of Shin..

 

Hmmm, as an aside, another bad-guy char who killed off a main party member in a FF would be Golbez, right? It's been a while since I played FF4, but didn't Tellah die from him? Very sad T_T.

But...I don't think I would choose him for the best FF villain. I like Kefka! I mean, an insane clown, how cool is that? Hahahaha! Sephiroth was awesome, long haired bishy-ness *_*. And Kuja too! But, they weren't really as unique as a character IMO. ^_^

 

I lost count of how many characters died in FFIV(okay, so most of them weren't quite dead...).

To that I say:
Sephiroth Murdered half of Nibelheim, a **** lad of Midgar, and plenty more besides.
He looks real cool. You said so yourself.
He carries around bits of his "mother" with him, and throws them at people to fight them.
He wanted to merge with the earth and become a god. Not a bad objective in my opinion.
He really doesn't give a **** about anything. He doesn't kill for fun, but he kills without batting an eye.
He does kill Aeris. That was evil.

So stop badmouthing Sephiroth.

 

The Only Reason Sephiroth was bad was because he got pissed off when he found out he was a clone and said Im gonna kill the earth im so mad.. and that about all there is to his villiny.. it was Keftka who wanted to become a god..(which he did).. Sephiroth just wanted supreem power to kill the world because he was pissed off not because he was a bad ***.

It may be your opinion, but it's wrong. Sephiroth<edit, watashi wa baka, ne?> wanted to cause a big enough wound to make all the life force come out and heal it, and it was his plan to merge with that and become godlike.
I totaly agree that Kefka was the baddest of asses, I just think Sephiroth is slightly badder. He killed Aeris for ****'s sake.

Im not sure what your talking about here. did you mix a name up?

Sephiroth may have killed aries Which I think made the story in FF 7 better because a main character died but i dont think it realy makes him badder then he already was seeing how he already killed women and children..

But if you remember Kefka killed General Leo (one of the coolest sub characters in tge FF series) and then went and killed the troups he had with him.. Thats prety damn insane!

Had Sephiroth had more character development i might agree that he was badder but he had hardly any compared to kefka!

Don't forget that Aeris was the last of the Ancients, a race which Sephiroth has taken to be his ancestry.
Sure Kefka was insane(and how), but I think there's more to being evil than that, ya know?

 

If your going to talk about who is more evil sephiroth is not evil one bit.. Like i said before he found out he was a clone and went mad. Kefka was evil since day one. He ploted he killed with poison, he betrade his friends he did eveything evil that there was to be done..


And at the end of the game you had the long kefka Speach and throwing the characters around like flies toying with them.. If thats not a All Powerful cocky vilian I dont know what is..

I had to say Kefka...

I would have loved to have been able to say Sephiroth cause he's hot! But Kefka is for sure more evil.. he just like decides to go and take over the world, without motives he kills like how many people??? I was so upset when all those people fell into the earth when it split up and that was his fault! He is super duper evil so he gets my vote....

Sephiroth is nice and all, but he's too much of a common, house-hold name anymore which kinda makes me sick, and in this haze of Sephiroth-praise, people forget about the other villains of that specific game; the Turks (namely Reno... mm.... erm, anyway). I also just liked the Turks for some reason much more, even though Sephiroth, thankfully, did get rid of that little annoyance, Aerith/Aeris. Reno is the cool, slick, arrogant bad-***, Rude is the quite, destructive force, and Tseng is the calm, collected, and fearless leader. Elena (I believe that was her name)... eh... just stuff her some where.
