the giant duck billed gerbil in the heavens created the earth from the soiled sand in his tray, and he shall destroy it as easily when he wishes.

have you guys ever thought that maybe some dude wanted to get rich?or maybe he wanted power so he made this thing up? people did it all the time. if they didn't like someone or thing they made up some stupid "higher power" or fortune so people had no choice but to follow( because of fear ). so maybe this tablet calendar thing they made is real. but their is a greater chance that its not. :catgirl:

i'm fairly positive the calender is real as i am fairly sure it's Carved into Rock.
i think i may actually hunt a link for this one...

also, most people will want proof that that is why religions are made. i highly recommend reading the debate forums Law topic for why i say this.

The Mayans and Aztecs always kinda gave me the chills becuase of how ingenious they were, they were able to do many things ahead of their time. I wouldnt be surprised if they were correct. i would just be alittle mad that it happened so soon. -_-

I think the Myan and Aztec civilizations
were highly civilized and very ingenious.

The Mayans had no foundation on the end-of-the world prophecies. They actually thought that the world had ended 4 times before. But they still were a fascinating civilasation.

Sure some people today believed that the world was going to end because od the predictions of Nostradamus (thats probably spelt wrong). So its you can probably forgive them for thinking that the end of the world was comng if people today were still to beleive that Nostradamus's predictions were going to come true.

They believed there had been four worlds before this one, each with their own sun, and we are in the fifth sun now. Seems about as reasonable as the world being created in a week.
