    Maybe the tropical regions are moving north because they're tired of old people from here going down there every winter ... I guess this way I will be able to find coconuts when next I ride through the kingdom of Mercia with my faithful servant Patsy. [​IMG]

    I was lazing in bed today (no work this morning), and the sun shining in from outside my window was burning so bright I couldn't sleep....ALthough outside is pretty chilly...

    Oi, waking the dead with this post ...

    Anyway, it's March 21, supposedly the first day of spring, and guess what happens ... IT SNOWS!!!!!! All through London and Strathroy it snows. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it supposed to snow in winter, and not in spring? Did someone switch Canada to the Southern Hemisphere without telling me or something? The weather was so bad today that part of the 402 (a major highway) between London and Strathroy was actually closed! 'Tis madness!

    it's been sooo nice in north dakota all freaking winter...no snow, upper 60's life is good. i hate snow. so, it waits till beginning of feb to snow...on and off...it snows, then it gets warm and melts everything...so you get that lovely glaze of ice over every surface...but the road, but ppl must drive either like an idiot or at about 15 mph...on the interstate. <cry> it's been snowing past couple days...it looks like the discovery channel is airing something on antarctica in our state...cause you look out side, nothing but a snowy expance with the wind blowing and the sound of plows scrapping the interstate to hell in the distance...

    but that's just my opinion of the exact middle of this continent...well, almost exact...that's somewhere to the east of here...serious.

    <coughs...> ok my whining is done unless i'm further depressed by this weather. lol

    Well,at least the swallows won't have far to carry the coconuts...

    Gentatsu,same thing happened here in Steeltown (i.e., Pittsburgh,PA),but not until after a good drenching in the rain.

    The rain pelted me on the way to Technical Japanese,and the snow was lurking in the shadows for my exit from the warm confines of Baker Hall (coincidentally,my last name is Baker...small world,ne? :D )

    Just when you think spring is here! Wahhh! ;_;...like 30 centimeters of snow in the past week! Melty, snowy, melty, snowy...I want spring! I got my spring gift today from a chinese friend, but it's not very springy!

    heeheehee the first day of spring was so springish it aint funny. it was warm and sunny, a few little spring showers and sunny again. quite loverly, then it rained most the nite but i like the rain so ^-^ today was colder though...maybe itll warm back up for spring break!!*crosses fingers* not like im going anywhere but i could still try to get a tan lol

    Interesting story: tonight I entered the subway and about ten seconds after I did, a window I passed on the way shattered (from the force of the wind o_O;;;) talk about close calls, ne?

    Heh, the weather yesterday was strange... Started off clear (well, as clear as it is with rain clouds, no rain, but wet ground)...

    Not a usual occurence (since we usually don't finish class at the same time), I got a ride with a friend from the college to my workplace (normally about a 20-30 minute walk for me).

    Well, guess what, I just get to work, and outside picks up a torrential snow/rain/windstorm! One I woulda been caught in, if that ride hadn't "magically" presented itself! Talk about lucky breaks?

    I would've survived, albeit drenched and frozen, but hey, what are the odds? Probably lower than finding refuge in a hall "named after yourself" or escaping a killer cascade of glass...but still...

    BakaMattSu, first day of spring my ***...

    [Edit: OH! And today it's freeeeezing, even if there's no snow!!]
    [Edit: Spoke too soon as well.... who wants a blizzard? I don't, but it's here anyhow...]

    And now the weather channel tells me to expect 15 more centimeters! Maybe I started this thread to complain to somebody about crappy weather? Anyway! I miss spring! I'm behind GNZ 100%!
