Anime What about Sonic?

O.K, there's already a thread asking about 1 new show, but what about Sonic?

Personlaly, I loved it, seeing how i just love! the games. So what about all you people? what do you think of it?:catgirl:

 

Which one? I can think of at least four series, plus a movie.

 

The new one, Sonic DX, no doubt. It looks good. I haven't actually seen it, though.

 

I've seen it. It's pretty good. I hate the theme song though. Sonic's very funny, Tails is very cute, I don't really like Eggman's English voice very much. Knuckles' voice sounds too much like an adult's rather than a teen's (like Sonic's). In action though, Knuckles is awesome, but he's being kind of mean so far... He's still cute though.^-^
There's also Cream and Cheese... I don't know what to think of them yet. They just sit there and look cute. Amy really annoys me. Why on earth did Sega create her? The games were just fine without her. I wish that robot really did kill her.

Nah... She rubs me the wrong way. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles- I'm fine with just those three.

it's either Amy or Sally. You can either have a cute little hedge hog or a pain in the arse chip monk/squuril. Take your pick. I'd rather have Amy, Sally's used to much.

Sally?-uhhh-who's that?

 

Sally was a character in an American Sonic cartoon that came on on Saturday mornings back in 1993-1995. It was called "Sonic the Hedgehog." Amy wasn't in this version, but there were two other females. Sally, a princess, and Bunnie, a bionic rabbit girl. Personally, I like Sally, but she can be very prissy and overly-serious at times. Bunnie was more cheery. Sally and Bunnie are not in the games (except Sonic Spinball in the first side game you play after the first stage). "Sonic the Hedgehog" was a great show. I still enjoy it to this day, and it's theme song is so much better than Sonic X's English theme song.

Sally wore blue boots and a blue vest. She was brown with red hair. You can still find her in the ongoing Sonic the Hedgehog comic books published by Archie Comics. ::nods sagely:: I miss that cartoon....

I like Sonic X. It's fun. Of course, I've only got five fansubbed episodes and up through eight raw (but I don't understand enough Japanese to catch everything that's going on), so here I am relying on FoxBox for the rest of it. ::sigh:: If only 4Kids Entertainment releases the dvds with a Japanese track too....

Knux sounds like an adult in the Japanese, too. He's voiced by Kanna Nobutoshi (Tasuki from FY, Ban from GetBackers, Kaze from FFU, Parn from Lodoss Tou Senki Eiyuu Kishiden--I believe that's the TV series, but I'm not sure--Kabuto from Naruto, and Gabriel from Tenshi ni Narumon, among others). He's more mature than Sonic, so he always sounds older than him.

 

I saw the first episode of the American version on the weekend, courtesy of a friend of mine. The Japanese has to be better, just because Kageyama Hironobu sings the theme song.

That would be Sonic Underground. From what i believe it was based off a large response from the fans of the american comic when they introduced them in one of the Sonic Super Specials. They live in another dimension and Sonic had to team up with them. The green one's name is Manic, and the pink one is Sonia.

Yeah that's who Sally is, the princess of Acron Kingdom. I personally don't like her much... however there was a sonic super special where a being from another dimension came to help Sonic by the name of 'Sally Moon' (THAT WAS THE BEST THING EVER!!! WAHAHAHA!! Amy Rose as Chibi Moon and Knuckles as Tuxedo kamen!!! WAHAHAHA!!!)

Lo, I lost track of some of the things going on in the comic... Amy's in the comic too btw, she started out as a little kid but then wished upon the ring of acrons, blah blah and became older. Since the ring was made of a chaos emerald, Robotnik was after her. This is seen in the Sega Dreamcast game.
Tho, the character that rules most in the comic (I almost orgot her!) was Julie-Su, Knuckle's lady 'friend'. XD There was Lupe too... a wolf girl, but she's dead now. ;_; They killed her off in a Sonic Super Special. *cries*
