I've finished the fourth book of The Wheel Of Time (The Shadow Rising) and I'm about a third of the way through the fifth (The Fires Of Heaven)... I'm trying to finish this quickly because my brother gave me a book to read called Kiss Me, Judas (I think the author's name is Will Christopher Baer)... then I also want to read The Dark Elf Trilogy and The Legacy Of The Drow (think they're by R.A. Salvatore is the name?).

*sigh* Though, I wish it was January already... that's when Sister Of The Dead (Barb and JC Hendee), the sequel to Thief Of Lives (which was a sequel to Dhampir) should be out. It's a long wait. :(

Daughter of the Forest, by Juliet Marriler I think.
It's really long but good. It's the first book of three.
    An excellent science fiction!!

Over the summer, while I was away, I finished reading:

    Candide - Voltaire
A satire on the human condition and what produces evil.

    Dune - Frank Herbert
A science fiction with a lot of mysticism thrown in, about a young boy, a plot to ruin his family, and his revenge.

Seventh Son - Orson Scott Card
First book of the Alvin Maker series; a fantasy about an America that might have been.

Red Prophet - Orson Scott Card
Second book in the Alvin Maker series.

The Memory of Earth - Orson Scott Card
First book in the Homecoming series; a science fiction about mankind's return to Earth.

The Call of Earth - Orson Scott Card
Second book in the Homecoming series.

    Wyrms - Orson Scott Card
A science fiction about a prophecy, a teenage "princess", and the destroying force of the planet on which she resides.

    Richard III - Shakespeare
A historical tragedy about King Richard III's rise to the throne, as well as his fall.

EDIT: I so totally forgot two other books I read. I can't believe I forgot these, as they were really, REALLY good.

The Once and Future King - T.H. White
The history of King Arthur as retold by the author. This is the book from where the movie "The Sword in the Stone" got its base.

The Book of Merlyn - T.H. White
The true last chapter of The Once and Future King, this was excluded from the original manuscript due to paper rations in WWII. This chapter is a highly political work, and basically debates the reason for human existance.
