What do guys and girls actually look for?
This question was spurred by hitohiro's confidence techniques thread. But the topic is somewhat different and i didnt want the whole conversaton on there thread getting to irrelevant.

so, back to the main question. What do girls and guys actually look for in each other. Alot of ppl say they look for kindness but usually the first thing a person notices is if they are handsome or hot. Its just one of those things that catch your eye.

This question has been answered many times by various ppl but i wanted a defenite thread on it because im selfish.

So, guys and girls what exactly catches your eye about a person?

I'd go for the good looking nice (personality) girl. I don't like those that think they're all that...hmm....in other words, I don't want to date someone that will try to make me her bi***

me its all about the personality. Girls that can be able to crack a joke, be a smartass,and look good while doing it yea thats what i like lol

99% of the time, your looks are what's going to influence her opinion first. Within 5 seconds, a person probably knows if they would do you. Depending on the personality, you can salvage yourself from a no, but far too many people think "be yourself" means "be a pushover". If you're too nice, you're screwed.

You can't ever, ever, ever lie to women. But, you can't tell them the truth either.

If they ask you something (especially on their looks), just say "I don't know baby, what do you think?"

You'd be screwed if you said that, especially with regards to their looks.

 

Personally im not sure all girls feel this way, i hate it if a guy calls me baby. Makes me want to hit them. Hard.

One thing that I'm always looking at are the eyes. I think one has beautiful eyes if they are appealing without wearing eyeliner. (There's one girl in our school.. was a girl, she quit, I think, haven't seen her this year, but doesn't matter! She always had tons of eyeliner, I think it was rather ugly.)
Uhm I guess it's kinda right about first looks if hot or handsome. Happened to me last year with a girl I considered a friend, but then after a while she started to notice my real personality, which is like an empty barrel.
I'm kind of pathetic really
And soooo I've been single for 19 years now, so, don't take my advices.

 

What do guys look for in a woman? I would say looks. If they are not hot and can't make their friends jealous then why would a guy go out with her.

What do girls look for in a guy? Cars and money. If the guy don’t have the greens they won't be making the girl... *coughs*

Girls like to pretend it is all about the personality but I will tell you that it ain't. You all need to pay me some attention up in this joint. I will tell you how it all goes down.

You won't see any rich men without woman. It is unheard of kind of like police officer not getting their donuts in the morning at the po po station. If the guy had a nice car he has to have some money. This is the way woman work. It is the way they survive. None of us (females) want to work for a living. Women like to find men to pay for them and men are dumb enough to do it. They deserve to be broke if they want to pay for a woman.

I will tell you women are not all bad. Women can find some way past the looks. We have all heard that right? I'll tell you though as long as he has the cash the looks don’t matter. Only broke guys that have woman are hot. Same thing like the men to make their girlfriends jealous. As women get older they might get a little better but that much. It is about the money and the cars.

Women are conniving, and manipulative creatures. I have said my peace.

 

Ah, if only guys actually looked at eyes, instead of the eyes accidentaly going down a bit most of the times. It's unfortunate that at least 90% of the guys do that most of their conversations.

Or rathr, that most men wouldn't have to actually move their sight up in order to see her eyes for the first time.

(For the braindead, the implication here is that most men will just look at a womans breasts to begin with before even bother looking at her)

Amen. Total truth right there. I sometimes get nervous around hott girls and blow it. But hey, I have a girlfriend, no worries for me. What I think girls/guys look for in each other has been displayed in a nifty bullet table below:

• Lovable factor
• Clingy factor
• Intrest in them
• Style of hair, clothes, etc.

As for boys...

• Body
• Personality
• Style
• Clingy factor

In my opinion, I think girls look for WAY more in a guy than guys look for in girls. It's just my opinion though, you don't HAVE to listen to me.

 

Or you prefer butt, legs or some other part of their anatomy.

It's not about cars and money, It's alot maturity.
I met loser guys before, with not life, no car,
and no job. They rather stay at the patents house,
look at porn and playing video games.
When they actually go to school, the don't go
to class, and rather stare at "hot" women
they would never have a of chance of dating.

Outside of looks, and Personality etc.
Women look for maturity!
