Follow their emporer... That's good for a chuckle or two, but it shows how much they actually DO know about other cultures. Nyet, perhaps the things they might see on tv and all...
Open-minded and the will to learn from other cultures please, people.

If racism is a racist word, then religion is a religious word. You know? >.>; Words are only what you make them out to be. But that's a whole other issue and I'm going to shut up now. XD

racism.......very broad topic. i dont think theres alot of racism in my town, but there is alot of segrigation. but its chosen that way. if your black, you usually tend to hang out with other black ppl. im white, and have black friends, but the majority of my friends are white. maybe because im goth, maybe because society is weird. who knows. yet with every ganster wannabe, and every goth, theres an animosity between them.

I live in Los Angeles, the only racism I have ever experienced is when Arnold Schwarzenegger was running for Govenor. Driving around one day, I noticed a few signs GLUED to electrical terminals with him portrayed as a nazi saying something like "achtung" (spelling IS off and I don't know what it meant).

Needless to say, Arnold really mopped up all his competition.

it's "attention or "caution". i didnt see the sign, but it might be warning people not to "allow a nazi into office" rather than supporting him.
    my 2 cents

Ah, thanks for translating that. I didn't know what that word meant, but I did know the context the poster was trying to put him [Arnold] into. Before I saw this, I'd hear all this stuff from the news about his ancestors who were part of the Nazi party. It turns out, his father was a member and joined only because he had to in order to work (or was forced to, I forget  ).

Of course, that part was in the papers, way in the back. And finally, that poster is gone. It has been hanging around since the re-call election and managed lasting through various removal attemps (that thing was on there good). Now, it's gone and painted (or maybe painted over?).

my school doesn't really have any racism but since it's in hawaii, there's lots of asians and hawaiians and stuff. there's not many white people but if there is and if they wanna scrap or make trouble, lots of people call them like, haole or like snow white. but there's like not many of that.
