    Escaflowne and Lodoss War songs are great!! Personally I prefer the instrumentals. My fav's from Escaflowne are 'Shadow of a Doubt'. My favourites from Escaflowne are:

    'Empty the Pocket', 'White Dove', 'Cats Feelings'...

    and something a little different, 'Cats Delicacy'.

    what anime's do you think have a really awesome musical score?

    I'd have to say out of what I've heard:
    Saber Marionette J
    Dragonball Z (dubbed)
    Gundam Wing
    all of Macross(hey the show revolves around music pretty much so it has to have good music)

    lain
    mononoke hime
    GITS (yup ^_^)
    some of ROLW
    gundam
    love hina

    Personally, my favourite anime music is Tactics by Yellow Monkey from Kenshin. Also, Hikari no Willpower from DBZ is cool.

    It's been like 2 months and I still can't get Ultra Relax out of my head!!!!! @_@x Oro
    but I have gotten to like Masami Okui's - Mask(masamix). Plus, I have the Japanese version of DBZ's Hikari no Willpower memorized...I was going to sing it in Drama class but we used the actual song instead.

    Not really anime music, but I have to recommend y'all to the Gran Turismo 3 soundtrack.
    As for anime, I've been listening to Ride On Shooting Star by the Pillows so freakin' much lately that now I even move my pencil to its tune sometimes during my math class. I was standing in the drama room at school, singing parts of the English opening to Tenchi Muyo as a warm-up before an audition for a musical too.
    I think I may have been over-using my CD player lately ...
