    I'm pretty sure it's not. I think the cheapest ones are around €30, but the others are around €40. It's not too bad value though, there's a fair bit of reaing in them.

    I paid about €23 for vol. 1 from http://www.up1.co.uk
    If they're goin for €20 somewhere in Ireland they're gonna be mine, only problem is finding 'em in Cork :(

    If I go on an anime binge it definitly won't be to Dublin.
    Ebay is the place for spending stupid amounts of money in a short space of time.

    I think the Sailor Moon manga is far more nicer than the anime, 'coz they did a lot of changes on the characters like their attitude and stuff. But I still love the anime, eventhough they did the changes.

    I'm becoming increasingly more of a fan of Sadamoto's Evangelion manga than the anime series. The characters are more sympathetic in the manga, and with some of the other plot changes that Sadamoto's introducting (like greater insight into Kaji's background), Eva's getting deeper. And, big plus, he doesn't have to waste time on 'monster-of-the-week' - I think the manga cuts at least six angels from the mix, but I'm not sure exactly.

    i prefer fushigi yugi & Inuyasha manga more than the anime..

    I liked Love Hina and Sailor Moon manga much more than the anim :)

    I truly believe that sailor moon is better in manga...
    i wish they could put all the manga stuff on t.v.
    that would be awesome

    I saw the whole Fruits basket anime. So then I started searching the web for the manga and after I found it. I decided that without any doubt the manga is far better that the anime!!

    I love the Yu Yu Hakusho manga it tells the stroy better gets into more detail and the Yu-Gi-Oh manga is more stroy in the manga

    Hikaru no Go's manga is better than the anime iteration. Possibly because the manga has a more exciting feel to it than the anime. Sure, the anime has the same moments, but it also has a lot of filler moves in it...especially in Go games. And if anyone knows how slow actual Go is played...then you'll love the manga's slightly faster pace.

    Kame is right about Hina. It's much better.

    Kare Kano is similar to the manga, but the manga goes on for much longer.

    Onegai Teacher's manga is much funnier, but I wouldn't be able to pick out a favorite among its manga and anime counterparts.

    I'd not be able to pick from the Prince of Tennis' forms either. The anime is much more dynamic, but the manga feels better drawn. Which is usually the case, anyway. But they both have the same addictive quality. Oh, and the extra characters that oft happen in anime...they're good for a laugh every now and then.

    Love Hina and GTO are both better than the animes. Especially Love Hina. Their was so much more plot and fan service in them.:p

    Chobits is so much better than the anime, watching the anime is a total disapointment. It so much more dramatic, funny, and it makes the mystery absorb you. But in the anime... I find it has a lot of cheesy parts and sometimes Chi just doesn't look right. And it's missing some things that aren't in the manga. So definately, the manga.

    The Sailor Moon manga is better than the anime many times (even though I like both versions). I hate how they exploited Usagi in the anime. They made her such a spoiled little brat!:mad:
