Anime What would you give up anime for?

Is there one thing you would ever give up anime for? If you chose wishes let us know what you'd wish for. And if you have something else in mind, tell us.

Heh, you gotta be kidding! If I gave up anime, I'd be stuck with crappy American shows for entertainment.

Of course... there'd still be manga... But eh.

 

I'm starting to grow tired of anime, so I would settle for money. I'm not really one of those people who would go nuts and buy islands and similar things.

 

Nowadays anime bores me. I wouldn't give up manga for anything short of divinity, though. Cutting myself off from Love Hina and Battle Angel would just be ... unpleasant.

 

I would go for the powers. It would be so cool to be able to fly around or shoot fire. I would chose to have Starfire's(Teen Titans) powers. They are so strong and no one would mess with me. Plus in a way I would be living the Anime life instead of watching it.

 

I'm not as much of an anime fan then i am a manga fan, but trying to find for anime is just another challenge in life when you live in this country.

But if you must know i'd sell it all down the river for lots of money.

 

The only thing i would ever give up anime for... ever!!! Would be

POWERS!

Like controling all the elements, telekinetic.

Stuff like that.

But i would want to control Fire, Ice, Wind, Water, Earth, Dark, Light, and have a shiz load of telekinetic powers.

Thats all id give anime up for.

 

I don't think I would give it up.....but I would if it's for a girl I really like(and I mean I have to Really like her)....but since that not the case....

O, and maybe what Kamui said.....Powers like that would be cool.

 

Well, this is a somewhat difficult question to answer for me. On the one hand, I would be very sad if I had to give up anime/manga for anything, but on the other hand they're just one of my many interests.

Personally, I worry a little bit about people who have made anime, manga, video games (or anything else, really) the sole focus of their lives. First, they're limiting themselves, even if it doesn't always seem like a limitation. Second, also having to do with limitations, it's harder to make friends and keep them if you don't share any interests, and not all people will like whatever it is that you're interested in. Third, most hobbies/intersets tend to get expensive. I suppose in a way that would make people want to specialize, but I prefer to have lots of things to choose from.

I guess what I'm saying is if I lost all my anime and manga (plus related merchandise) for whatever reason I would be sad, but it wouldn't be the end of my life. It's just stuff after all, and that shouldn't be what's most important.

Sorry for rambling a bit there....yeah. I'll shut up now.

Unless the person I'm having sex with is an anime fan, too. Then I wouldn't have to give it up.

Im kind of bored of anime as it is, its kind of hard on the eyes and all reading the subtitles. books are more fun. thats why... wow! wow! wait for it. Wait for it!... i work at a BOOKSTORE!

 

I'd give it up because of emotions and feelings.

Go ahead and laugh at me, but when I watch anime, it feels like theres a connection between me and the characters in the show, somewhat like a friendship or the characters leave an impression on me, and when it ends, they can't do anything anymore, when the series end, then thats the end of their life, you can only go back and see what happened before its over again. It feel like losing a friend...I don't like this feeling a lot.

I'd give up anime because of this feeling. Like i said, go ahead and laugh at me.

 

Don't worry, i'm not laughing. When a charecter dies on a series it seems to make my life everyday feel so weird or different I should say. I hate when a charecter I really like on a show dies because i am really depresse when I think about it for probably a week after I see it. So you are not alone, trust me.

 

I'm the same way, when I'm watching a show and a charecter I like dies I cry.....I've doen it before.

 

Some of you are getting bored of anime cause you're getting older. No seriously.

Hmmm... what would I give up anime for?

Kaiba. A real life kaiba to love me love me hold me hold me forever. and to make mini FRs and Kaibas with.

Oh yes and to make me rich...heh heh, killing two wishes with one stone.

Though... immortality is tempting. I'm scared of death.

 

I would give up anime for Immortality. Of course I would die in 3 billion years anyway, so I would cheat around then and start watching all the anime I missed. :anime:

 

I don't know if i'd want to live forever. you wont know anyone and you'd be old, wrinkly, and tired forever. I'm not up for that.:sweat2:

 

I've thought about liveing forever.....
And there is Immortality with out ageing
