Yeah I agree. Free candy? Tons of presents? Totally awsome!

 

Chirstmas because of the snow (But I don't get almost any down here T_T). I don't really mind if I don't get any presents. I'm happy with what I have right now...although I want manga T_T

 

Halloween, I get to dress like 2D this year!! Yeayay!

Anyways, I have only heard descriptions of cherry blossom festivals, I don't exactly know what it is. But they sound beautiful......

 

A cherry blossom festival is something dealing with cherry blossoms, that's all I know

But I think its something to do with Japan, China and some other places...I think now, I don't know if its true and I may be more wrong than not :sweat: Anyone know what it is?

Halloween.
i love to get dressed up. Just love it. I don't even care for the candy anymore, if I have a chance to dress up I'm happy. Wearing my costume to school is the best part.

Besides, at christmas I'm at an age where my parents will usually buy me just one big thing...well my mom will probably buy me a bunch of little things. But with my dad it's one big, expensive thing, for example, this year i received an iPod from my father. year before, a portable DVD player. Next year I'm expecting a laptop of sorts or something since I'm heading off to university, i don't know yet.

It's a festival in japan where you admire the now blossoming cherry trees. There are events going on like any festival (vendors and such). Japanese are very big on festivals. I'd rather see the Tanabata festival than the Sakura Festival though. I like the story of Tanabata....
It is NOT, however, a holiday. It's just...a festival.

 

Hey I forgot about Halloween. Ok I change. Reason is because its Autumn which means it never to hot nor to cold. And the leaves change all kinds of colors here in the east, IDK if all America does so yeah lol THANKYOU FUSHIGI lol I forgot about that one

 

Oh, yes, that Halloween costume dress-up day at school is totally fun. I think the most funnest part about that, is seeing the teachers and professers dressed up. It is soooo hilarious!!

 

This previous year we had two teachers come for Hallowen dressed as Little Red Ridding hood (complete with a basket full of bagels and stuff NOT for sharing) and Wonderwoman.

The afore mentioned teachers were both MEN.

Halloween at school is very, very fun, yup yup.

(we also had a female teacher who was Medusa and her hair was so cool with all the plastic snakes...and we had two boys in my grade who were wearing children's Power Rangers costumes - so they were too small- and were blasting out in the hallway before class and during lunch with the power rangers theme song XDDD oh geez that was funny)

I was a Catholic school girl and my best friend was Aphrodite and to purposely get on her nerves I constantly called her 'Venus' isntead. XDDD

This year I don't know what I'll go as, I'd like to go cosplaying since it's my last year to do this at school...or I may just be Johnny the Homicidal Maniac but that's a tad plain. =P

Yeah one of my teachers dressed up as a mad scientist with all the hair poofed straight up and she made everyone drink weird juice blends and.....it was flipping hilarious!!!!!! Another one of my teachers dressed up as Mary Poppins.....and he was a guy!!! That was soooooo flippin hilarious. I might dress up as......hmm.........I have no idea yet!!!

 

Has always been St. Pats day. Why, b/c I can drink and act like a total gobshite and its a perfectly perfect excuse ^_^! not to mention my favourite colour since 5 yrs old.. GREEN . Seeing people wear green.
Other than that probs chinese new years.. all other holidays suck.
