Fruits Basket Which guy did Tohru choose?

hn... now yuki seems the best to be with tohru. seems to be the most 'mature' one... out of those people, anyway.

he'd probably help her out. some way. some how.

 

Frankly I don't think it's possible for Tohru to actually choose. In the manga you see all kinds of emotional conflicts that Yuki and Kyo have and it's always Tohru who's there for them. She won't choose even if she had to. She'd find some way to love them both equally. It's just who she is.

The anime wasn't really much of a help or decider either. It didn't say outright whether or not she choose Kyo. Both seem to have an equal score in her heart.

It's what I hear, Iv'e have to read it for myself....

 

from what i've read in other forums, tohru chose Kyo
and that yuki got paired up with some other annoying girls
i was so upset that i don't even want to read fruits basket

i also read that yuki only thought of her as a mother or whatever
but i always thought he liked her

Yes,I do belive that Tohru ends up with Kyo... Yuki falls for a girl on the new student council (She is named Manabe I think, and she is the Treasurer)You see her in the begining of book nine briefly...The reason why Yuki dosen't end up with Tohru has something to do with Yuki beliving that in a love relationship, both lovers should be able to help one another.If Yuki ended up with Tohru, She would make Yuki feel happier about himself but as far as he can see he can't help Tohru,but when he is with Manabe he can bring out a little confidence in her that he could never do with Tohru.Manabe is also a lot like Yuki (she has a low self-esteem and is shy, etc.)so Yuki can relate to her. But Tohru is so happy and carefree that Yuki just admires her in a way or thinks of her as a mother he never had

and also from my last post i said the same thing

but it turns out, that's kinda wrong.. i reread it about 38 and yuki feels tohrus warmth as a mother and stuff but, he also loves her very much, he said somewhere it's like finding a lover with some quailties of a mother, so he does love her, especially her being motherlylike...

and he realized that kyo, sees her as just a woman, and that he loves her very much, and also tohru feels the same about kyo,

and yuki being yuki, just wants tohru to be happy, so he's just like, sorta giving up, but not giving up hope...

and i don't really think he loves the student council girl because he loves tohru, i think he just is really happy he can help someone, and have a friendship with someone like him..

i sorta have a feeling, that if yuki tells tohru about the hat incidient, her feelings would certainly change and maybe they could end up together....


so... i don't know..

i think for now

both kyo and yuki both have 50/50 chances to end up with tohru

She doesn't choose anyone in the series since its either on hiatus, or done. But if you want to know who she chooses in the manga I can tell you. But the things is if you read the scanlations Its pretty easy to figure out. or you could look it up on wikipedia
