Television Who can remember Ninja Turtles?

Oh wow!!! Ninja Turtles!

I still have those toys, and I remember the show well! Michelangelo is a big fave of mine. But you know, I can't identify any of them to save my life. I have two of the turtles that I can still find, and a sort of Pizza Thrower battery powered car.

Let's see, one of my turtle's has this weird thing on his back made out of plastic and this little green button on his side that makes him growl. He has a red bandana.

The other has orange bandanas and he's pretty normal, well, for a mutant ninja turtle.

Oh oh! I still have a pizza left for my Pizza Launcher Mobile! I wonder what happened to the other 4? ().()?

**shoots pizza at screen**

 

I remember that pizza launcher. The launcher actually hurled them at dangerous speeds and got pulled off the market.

 

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I have a dangerous toy that was pulled off the market! **retrieves her pizza and puts other stuff in the launcher** I wonder what I could've gotten for it if we hadn't taken some of the stickers off?

Any takers? I'll take anything more than 10 bucks for it! (just kidding)

What is the part of the song about scarfing pizza? I always forget it. Does anybody know? Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention I have Ninja Turtle's trading cards, I have doubles of a lot of them...

Good God, the things you find in your toy box after all the years of never stepping foot into where your toy box is.

 

I used to LOVE the turtles! We had April, all three turtles, and three splinters in action figures. I have no idea what happened to them though. We also have all three movies. We used to watch them like ten times a day. Mikey was always my fav. turtle.

I still sometimes watch the movie which is cool, but the show was better I am sure. I still play some old video games hehehe i like them they are cool and fun. I love the hole PIZZA!! thing it is so true i love pizza it is sooo good.

 

*Looks about room & storage area one day* Where the hell did all my toys go??? all thats left is my Alien toys & a Power ranger... Ooooooo Ninja turtle hand held game ^_^

 

I had a couple of the toys.. but everytime I went to Chuck E. Cheese's i would play the video game.. heh I owned that arcade....

 

Yeah, I used to watch the original TV show a lot when it was on. I never really got into the action figures though . . .I only owned one. Donatello, baby. Those live action movies were awesome too. Though who knows what I'd think of them if I were to watch them again now . . .

Did anyone ever play the videogames? Like the ones for Nintendo, or Turtles in Time for the Super Nintendo? I had so much fun playing those!!

That was Shredder, and he had Bebop and Rocksteady working for him.

 

Here's a little plug for the new series that just started airing sometime last month. It's really cool! The story follows closer to the comics, and one of the original creators is on the script team.

I really like the newer designs, and while I'm not exactly the demographic it was intended for, I can't say that I care all that much. It's very cool and spiffy. April hasn't been in it much though. I know she will be, however.

As for my favorite turtle....have to say Raphael. Reason why? He has the most angst, at least in the comics.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles rocked. That was my reason to get up at 7 every saturday morning. I also got the fighting game for NES and my brothers and I would be up for hours playing that and trying to get to the end (furthest we got was the one were you got to drive around those cool skateboards). What ever happened to these shows? Besides Mutant Turtles, there was Ghost Busters, Toxic Cursaders, Biker Mice from Mars and a few other good ones. Hell, I know i'm older now, but i'd still sacrifice sleep time to watch any of the ones I mentioned up there.

 

It was my favorite show when i was little! I liked the arcade game,too.

 

Oh,man!I remember that!I got Raphael!My favorite!It was green and shaped like their body.I loved that thing.I remember that I used to have the little electronic communicator thing that beeped.
It had like pictures of Shredder in it and stuff.It was shaped like a turtle shell with an antena sticking out of it.It was a cellphone type thing.I had all the action figures,too.I got up every Saturday morning just to watch it.
