    the best way to avoid an argument with these things is not to get emotional about it. stick to the facts, and all will be well.

    Sure, sure. And that's why I want those two fine people as mods.
    One must know where to draw the line. It's hard to post without any emotion, if you did it might be hard to find a reason to post, but trying not to offend people, and trying not to get offended yourself are very important.
    Soft flames are okay, when noone takes it seriously, but anything harder than that and you'll be in a whole heap o' ****.

    Sorry Zanza... I didn't know you already put one here ^^;

    M2A is a great place, no doubt about that. I am currently campaigning to bring the Transformers forum back to life... it's been sitting there for quite a while now... the mod there isn't doing his part either.

    This place is pretty cool but...there are two rules for the RPG forum that I think should be changed. A RPer should be able to join ten RPGs max. Also, you should be able to post more then once in any thread.

    Considering the fact that this is practically the only place I got to on the net...i love it here. It's the only forum I'm a part of and I don't plan on leaving any time soon.

    :anger: This place could use more forums on anime/manga that really are popular on a wide scale. For example, there was a thread talking about how there should be a Great Teacher Onizuka forum, and I think out of all the suggestions for anime forums, GTO should definitely be considered. For one thing, it's not just an anime. The anime and manga series are decently long themselves, yet there's also the live action tv series (the final episode was the most watched show in Japan when it aired), and the live action movie. Among those series there would be a lot of topic discussions already. Secondly, GTO really is an exceptional anime series--there's drama, romance, perversion, violence, comedy, but also has unpredictable surprises, as well as interesting portrayals of social issues without being too shonen or shojo in the way it's presented. Thirdly, it's about time that a Great anime gets some spotlight action! My friends, my brother's friends, all agree that GTO is some of the best entertainment ever on anime. It's both ghetto-cool as well as socially deep.

    :anger: I'd like to add something about flame-wars... What I hate is when people THINK someone is flaming, when they actually weren't. For example, someone could be backing up their opinion about how a movie could be better, giving nothing but logic to the best of their abilities, not using any insults or stereotypes, yet the sheer power of their argument is so awesome that a sensitive person who opposes would think "that person is out of their mind!...that must mean he/she is flaming me..." Another example would be like when I once told someone "Well I thought you were a female cuz you have a girlie username and a female avatar, and you always talk all girlishly and you use girlie words like 'kitty' instead of cat," then someone came and said "hey hey hold up! there's no need for insulting!" In a situation like that, I wasn't flaming cuz I was using logic, without saying anything bluntly offensive (like "screw you!" or "...damn noob"), yet it gets treated like a flame. This is not really something that can be fixed (I doubt the mods are gonna go zero-in on posts like that and post a scolding or something)......but people should at least be aware of this kind of falsely-accused-flaming. Not just at MangaToAnime, but all decent forum sites.
